69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली वेटलिफ्टिंग में झारखंड को 3 पदक ,2 रजत और 1 कांस्य

स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग अंतर्गत झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद के तत्वावधान मे भाग लेने गए झारखंड के खिलाड़ियों ने 69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली वेटलिफ्टिंग प्रतियोगिता में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए राज्य का नाम रोशन किया है। दिनांक 6 से 9 जनवरी 2026 तक क्रीड़ा संकुल, संभाजीनगर स्टेडियम, महाराष्ट्र में आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में अंडर-19 आयुवर्ग के झारखंड के वेटलिफ्टर्स ने कुल तीन पदक (दो रजत एवं एक कांस्य) जीतकर राज्य को गौरव दिलाया है।

प्रतियोगिता में बाबूलाल हेंब्रम ने 60 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में कांस्य पदक हासिल किया। उन्होंने स्नैच में 97 किग्रा, क्लीन एंड जर्क में 128 किग्रा वजन उठाया। इस प्रकार उनका कुल योग 225 किग्रा रहा। सूरज कुमार महतो ने 65 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में रजत पदक जीता। उन्होंने स्नैच में 108 किग्रा और क्लीन एंड जर्क में 142 किग्रा वजन उठाकर कुल 250 किग्रा का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। रोहन कुमार ने 79 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में रजत पदक अपने नाम किया। उन्होंने स्नैच में 115 किग्रा तथा क्लीन एंड जर्क में 142 किग्रा वजन उठाया। उनका कुल योग 257 किग्रा रहा। खिलाड़ियों के इस सफल प्रदर्शन में कोच रंजीत मिश्रा एवं मैनेजर कुणाल दीप का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।

इस अवसर पर राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी श्री धीरसेन ए.सोरेंग ने हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि झारखंड के वेटलिफ्टरो ने राष्ट्रीय मंच पर जिस आत्मविश्वास और अनुशासन के साथ प्रदर्शन किया है, वह अत्यंत सराहनीय है। यह उपलब्धि खिलाड़ियों की निरंतर मेहनत का परिणाम है और यह राज्य में खेल प्रतिभाओं के उज्ज्वल भविष्य का संकेत देती है। झारखंड के खिलाड़ियों की इस शानदार उपलब्धि पर माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री हेमंत सोरेन, शिक्षा सचिव श्री उमाशंकर सिंह, झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद के परियोजना निदेशक श्री शशि रंजन, प्रशासी पदाधिकारी श्री सच्चिदानंद द्विवेदी तिग्गा, राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी श्री धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग तथा राज्य खेल कोषांग के सभी सदस्यों ने खिलाड़ियों को हार्दिक बधाई देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की है।
