69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली साइक्लिंग प्रतियोगिता के रोड मुकाबले संपन्न, शतरंज अंडर–14 वर्ग में दूसरे चक्र में हुवे रोमांचक मुकाबले 

स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग अंतर्गत झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची की मेजबानी में आयोजित 69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली साइक्लिंग प्रतियोगिता के दूसरे दिन रिंग रोड स्थित विकास नेवरी में आयोजित रोड साइक्लिंग की सभी स्पर्धाएँ सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हो गईं। दो दिनों तक चली इंडिविजुअल टाइम ट्रायल (आईटीटी) एवं मास स्टार्ट रोड रेस में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों एवं इकाइयों के खिलाड़ियों के बीच जबरदस्त प्रतिस्पर्धा देखने को मिली। खिलाड़ियों ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए अपने कौशल का परिचय देकर अपने-अपने राज्य के लिए जीता।
अब 15 जनवरी से ट्रैक साइक्लिंग प्रतियोगिता खेलगांव स्थित सिद्धू कान्हु वेलोड्रोम स्टेडियम में आयोजित किया जाएगा।
इसी क्रम में खेलगांव के हरिवंश ताना भगत इंडोर स्टेडियम में आयोजित शतरंज प्रतियोगिता में अंडर–14 बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग के दूसरे चक्र के मुकाबले भी अत्यंत रोमांचक रहे। नन्हे-मुन्ने शतरंज खिलाड़ियों ने सूझबूझ, धैर्य और रणनीतिक कौशल का शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए “शह और मात” के माध्यम से अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वियों को पराजित कर तीसरे चक्र में प्रवेश किया।

सीबीएसई ने दिल्ली को, तमिलनाडु ने पंजाब को, CISCE पांडिचेरी ने पुडुचेरी को, केवीएस ने पश्चिम बंगाल को, महाराष्ट्र ने चंडीगढ़ को, गुजरात ने असम को, केरल ने उत्तर प्रदेश को, आंध्र प्रदेश ने आईपीएससी को तथा झारखंड ने नवोदय विद्यालय समिति को पराजित किया।
बालिका वर्ग में तमिलनाडु ने पश्चिम बंगाल को, महाराष्ट्र ने आंध्र प्रदेश को, CISCE ने कर्नाटक को, केरल ने आईपीएससी को, सीबीएसई ने पुडुचेरी को, तेलंगाना ने असम को तथा हरियाणा ने राजस्थान और चंडीगढ़ को हराया। वहीं झारखंड और त्रिपुरा के बीच मुकाबला ड्रॉ रहा।
