भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के महानायक नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बस की जयंती के अवसर पर 23 जनवरी को बेंगॉली एसोसिएशन हजारीबाग तथा यूनियन क्लब एंड लाइब्रेरी के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में यूनियन क्लब एंड लाइब्रेरी के ऐतिहासिक केशब हाल में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

इस अवसर पर बेंगॉली एसोसिएशन के सचिव सोमनाथ कुनार, यूनियन क्लब एंड लाइब्रेरी के पूजा समिति के सचिव रजत नाग तथा सदस्य हिमांशु भट्टाचार्य ने संयुक्त रूप से नेताजी के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण किया। इसके बाद श्री ध्रुव चक्रवर्ती, उज्जवल आयकत, आशीष चक्रवर्ती, कीरीटी राय, सुजित भट्टाचार्य, अरबिंदो चौधरी, शुभेंदु टैगोर, तिलोक राय, सुहास सर्वाधिकारी, डॉ दीपक कुंडू, गोपाल मल्लिक, सुबल विश्वास, प्रसेनजीत घोष, शुभ्रिंदु गुहा, इंद्रनील सरकार, अनिल आयकत, प्रसन्ना चंद्र, अमित राय, जयंतो बनर्जी, तपन सरकार, रमानाथ दास गोस्वामी, अनूप कुमार पांजा तथा अजय रुद्र ने चित्र पर पुष्पार्पण किया।

यूनियन क्लब एंड लाइब्रेरी तथा बेंगली एसोसिएशन के उपसभापति श्री विकास चौधरी तथा श्रीमती रूपा चटर्जी एवं बेंगॉली एसोसिएशन के उपाध्यक्ष श्री सुतानु राय तथा श्री चिन्मय सरकार ने पुष्प अर्पण द्वारा श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र के पूर्व महासचिव के तकनीकी सलाहकार, हजारीबाग के, श्री अमिताभ मुखर्जी, अन्नदा उच्च विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य दशरथ महतो तथा पूर्व वार्ड पार्षद निवेदिता राय ने विशेष रूप से कार्यक्रम को सुशोभित किया।

इस अवसर पर मधुच्छंदा मुखर्जी के नेतृत्व में नेताजी का प्रिया गीत “कदम कदम बढ़ाए जा” खुशी के गीत गाए जा… ” को सभी लोगों ने जोश और उत्साह के साथ गाया। जय हिंद, भारत माता की जय, और वंदे मातरम के गूंजाएमां नारों ने स्वतंत्रता के उस स्वर्णिम अध्याय को पुनर्जीवित किया।
