मणिपुर की राजधानी इंफाल स्थित खुमान लम्पक स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स के फुटबॉल मैदान में आयोजित 69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड की अंडर-19 बालिका टीम नेउत्कृष्ट खेल प्रदर्शन करते हुए स्वर्ण पदक अपने नाम किया।
यह प्रतियोगिता 23 जनवरी से 28 जनवरी 2026 तक आयोजित हुई, जिसमें झारखंड की बालिका टीम ने स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग अंतर्गत झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची क अगुवाई में भाग लिया।
आज खेले गए रोमांचक फाइनल मुकाबले में झारखंड ने मेजबान मणिपुर को कड़े संघर्ष में 1-0 से पराजित किया। मैच का एकमात्र एवं निर्णायक गोल झारखंड की स्टार खिलाड़ी काजल कुमारी ने दागा, जिससे झारखंड को स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त हुआ और राज्य का नाम पूरे देश में रोशन हुआ।
टीम की इस सफलता में कोच बिंदु कुमारी एवं मैनेजर जीतू कच्छप का मार्गदर्शन एवं योगदान अत्यंत सराहनीय रहा।
इस जीत पर राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग ने हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि,झारखंड की बालिका फुटबॉल खिलाड़ियों ने इस वर्ष इतिहास रच दिया है। विभाग द्वारा दिए गए 21 दिवसीय आवासीय प्रशिक्षण, सही मार्गदर्शन एवं उचित मंच का यह सकारात्मक परिणाम है कि बालिकाओं ने तीनों वर्गों में राज्य को पदक दिलाया है। अंडर-14 वर्ग में रजत तथा अंडर-17 एवं अंडर-19 वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक।
इस उपलब्धि पर मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन, शिक्षा सचिव उमाशंकर सिंह, परियोजना निदेशक शशि रंजन, प्रशासी पदाधिकारी सच्चिदानंद द्विवेदी तिग्गा एवं राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग और राज्य खेल कोषांग सदस्यों ने सभी खिलाड़ियो को बधाई देकर उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की है।
