गुमला में ट्रैफिक नियमों की अनदेखी पड़ी भारी: DTO के नेतृत्व में चली सघन जांच, 2.10 लाख का जुर्माना वसूला

बिना हेलमेट और कागजात नहीं चलने वालों पर कार्रवाई, आगे भी जारी रहेगा अभियान

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में सड़क सुरक्षा मानकों को ताक पर रखकर वाहन चलाने वालों के खिलाफ उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में शुक्रवार को गुमला जिला परिवहन विभाग ने कड़ा रुख अपनाया। शहर के थाना गेट के समीप जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (DTO) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के नेतृत्व में चलाए गए एक विशेष सघन वाहन जांच अभियान में नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले चालकों पर बड़ी कार्रवाई की गई। विभाग ने मौके पर ही 2 लाख 10 हजार (2.10 लाख) रुपये का जुर्माना वसूला।
हेलमेट से लेकर सीट बेल्ट तक की हुई जांच

शुक्रवार को चले इस अभियान में दोपहिया और चारपहिया वाहनों की बारकी से जांच की गई। जांच दल ने मुख्य रूप से उन चालकों पर शिकंजा कसा जो:

• बिना हेलमेट वाहन चला रहे थे एवं तेज रफ्तार से वाहन चलाना
• चारपहिया वाहन में सीट बेल्ट का प्रयोग नहीं कर रहे थे।
• बिना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस या प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र के सड़क पर थे।
• ओवरलोडिंग एवं ट्रिपल राइड वाहन चलाना

दर्जनों वाहनों को रोककर उनके दस्तावेजों की जांच की गई और खामियां मिलने पर मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत चालान काटा गया।
DTO की चेतावनी: “सड़क सुरक्षा से समझौता नहीं”
कार्रवाई के दौरान डीटीओ ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने स्पष्ट किया कि यह केवल जुर्माना वसूलने का अभियान नहीं, बल्कि लोगों की जान बचाने की एक पहल है। उन्होंने चालकों को सख्त चेतावनी देते हुए कहा:
“सड़क दुर्घटनाओं से बचाव के लिए यातायात नियमों का पालन अनिवार्य है। वाहन चलाते समय हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट का प्रयोग जीवन रक्षक है। परिवहन विभाग सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर पूरी तरह गंभीर है। लोग सभी वैध कागजात साथ लेकर चलें, क्योंकि आगे भी इस तरह के औचक निरीक्षण लगातार जारी रहेंगे।”

वाहन चेकिंग में मचा हड़कंप, पुलिस बल रहा मौजूद

अचानक शुरू हुए इस सघन जांच अभियान से थाना गेट और आसपास के इलाके में वाहन चालकों के बीच हड़कंप मच गया। चालान के डर से कई चालक रास्ता बदल कर गलियों से भागते नजर आए। मौके पर अफरातफरी का माहौल रहा, लेकिन पुलिस बल की मुस्तैदी से अभियान शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न हुआ।
आम जनता ने बताया जरूरी कदम
भले ही चालकों में खलबली मची हो, लेकिन शहर के प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों और राहगीरों ने प्रशासन के इस कदम की सराहना की है। लोगों का कहना है कि गुमला में बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर लगाम लगाने के लिए इस तरह की सख्ती बेहद जरूरी है।
