एफएसएसएआई, नई दिल्ली के निर्देश पर गुमला में सघन छापेमारी के साथ कॉलेज में फूड सेफ्टी एवं तंबाकू निषेध पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक प्राधिकरण (FSSAI), नई दिल्ली के निर्देशानुसार गुमला जिले में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों एवं जनस्वास्थ्य से जुड़े नियमों के कड़ाई से अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने हेतु खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग द्वारा सघन छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया। यह अभियान खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी के नेतृत्व में संचालित किया गया।

अभियान के दौरान गुमला शहर के विभिन्न बाजार क्षेत्रों में स्थित प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया गया। निरीक्षण के क्रम में पीके मार्ट, आरके मार्ट, गुरमीत ट्रेडर्स एवं मेसर्स तिवारी स्टोर सहित कई प्रतिष्ठानों की गहन जांच की गई। जांच के दौरान खाद्य पदार्थों के भंडारण, स्वच्छता, लेबलिंग, एक्सपायरी तिथि, पैकेजिंग मानक एवं गुणवत्ता की बारीकी से पड़ताल की गई।

निरीक्षण के दौरान

आरके मार्ट से मिक्स दाल,

गुरमीत ट्रेडर्स से बेसन एवं रिफाइंड सोयाबीन ऑयल,

मेसर्स तिवारी स्टोर से मसूर दाल, मूंग दाल, अरहर दाल एवं उड़द दाल

के नमूने विधिवत संग्रहित कर सील करते हुए प्रयोगशाला जांच हेतु भेजे गए। खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने स्पष्ट किया कि जांच रिपोर्ट प्राप्त होने के उपरांत यदि मानकों में कमी पाई जाती है तो संबंधित प्रतिष्ठानों के विरुद्ध खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम, 2006 के तहत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

निरीक्षण के दौरान दुकानदारों को खाद्य पदार्थों को स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित वातावरण में रखने, परिसर की नियमित सफाई बनाए रखने, गुणवत्तापूर्ण खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने तथा खाद्य लाइसेंस एवं आवश्यक दस्तावेजों को अद्यतन रखने के निर्देश दिए गए।

इसी क्रम में आज कार्तिक उरांव कॉलेज, गुमला में खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी द्वारा फूड सेफ्टी एवं तंबाकू निषेध विषय पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राओं ने भाग लिया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को खाद्य सुरक्षा से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण उपायों की जानकारी दी गई तथा विभिन्न खाद्य पदार्थों का लाइव प्राथमिक परीक्षण कर मिलावट की पहचान के व्यवहारिक तरीके सिखाए गए। साथ ही अखाद्य रंगों के दुष्प्रभावों के बारे में बताया गया तथा फोर्टीफाइड फूड के उपयोग एवं महत्व पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला गया।

‘इट राइट कैंपस’ अभियान के अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों को “आज से थोड़ा कम तेल, चीनी और नमक” संदेश के साथ जंक फूड, अत्यधिक मीठे पेय पदार्थ एवं तले-भुने खाद्य पदार्थों से दूरी बनाए रखने की सलाह दी गई, ताकि बढ़ते मोटापे एवं स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ने वाले दुष्प्रभावों से बचा जा सके।

विद्यार्थियों को संतुलित एवं पौष्टिक आहार अपनाने, भोजन की बर्बादी न करने, स्वच्छ एवं सुरक्षित भोजन ग्रहण करने तथा स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। साथ ही तंबाकू एवं तंबाकू उत्पादों के सेवन से होने वाली गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं की जानकारी देते हुए तंबाकू से पूर्णतः दूर रहने की अपील की गई।

प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि इस प्रकार के निरीक्षण, छापेमारी एवं जागरूकता अभियान नियमित रूप से जारी रहेंगे, ताकि आमजन को शुद्ध, सुरक्षित एवं मानकयुक्त खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध हो सके। आम उपभोक्ताओं से अपील की गई है कि यदि उन्हें किसी खाद्य व्यवसायी द्वारा मिलावटी अथवा मानकविहीन खाद्य सामग्री के क्रय-विक्रय की जानकारी मिले, तो वे इसकी शिकायत फूड सेफ्टी कनेक्ट एप (Food Safety Connect App) के माध्यम से कर सकते हैं।
