गुमला में विश्व मिर्गी दिवस पर दो दिवसीय विशेष शिविर, एम्स दिल्ली के विशेषज्ञ कर रहे जांच व उपचार

गुमला : – गुमला जिला स्वास्थ्य समिति एवं प्रोजेक्ट आशा के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में विश्व मिर्गी दिवस के अवसर पर दो दिवसीय विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन जिला मुख्यालय स्थित मानसिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र में किया गया। इस शिविर में एम्स दिल्ली से आए विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों द्वारा चिन्हित मिर्गी रोगियों की जांच कर उन्हें आवश्यक दवाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान एम्स के विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सक डॉ. हेमंत तिवारी एवं डॉ. मयंक शर्मा ने बताया कि प्रोजेक्ट आशा के तहत पिछले दो वर्षों में जिले में मिर्गी से पीड़ित व्यक्तियों की व्यापक स्क्रीनिंग की गई थी, जिसमें गुमला जिले से लगभग एक हजार मरीजों की पहचान हुई थी। अब इन सभी रोगियों की दोबारा स्क्रीनिंग कर उनकी स्वास्थ्य स्थिति के अनुसार दवा की मात्रा में आवश्यक संशोधन किया जा रहा है।
विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों ने बताया कि मिर्गी से पीड़ित मरीजों के लिए नियमित रूप से दवा का सेवन अत्यंत आवश्यक है, जिससे वे सामान्य और स्वस्थ जीवन जी सकते हैं।
कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में मानसिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र के डॉ. शारिब अहमद, जिला कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक जया रेशम खाखा, जिला लेखा प्रबंधक प्रमोद साहु, जिला कार्यक्रम समन्वयक अभिनीत आनंद, नील कुसुम लकड़ा, नमिता कुमारी, विनोद कुमार, सुजित कुमार महतो सहित अन्य स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।
