त्योहार से पहले गुमला में खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की सघन जांच, मसालों एवं नमकीन स्नेक्स के नमूने प्रयोगशाला भेजे गए

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में आगामी त्यौहारोको ध्यान में रखते हुए जिले में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुपालन एवं जनस्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी के नेतृत्व में गुमला शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में किराना दुकानों का सघन निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया गया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान मेसर्स मां भवानी एजेंसी, मेसर्स नेशनल ट्रेडर्स, मेसर्स अंकित ट्रेडर्स, मेसर्स गोविंद ट्रेडर्स एवं मेसर्स पंजाबी मसाला दुकान सहित कई प्रतिष्ठानों की जांच की गई। इस दौरान साफ-सफाई, खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता, भंडारण व्यवस्था, एक्सपायरी तिथि, पैकेजिंग एवं लाइसेंस संबंधी दस्तावेजों की बारीकी से जांच की गई।

जांच के क्रम में मेसर्स अंकित ट्रेडर्स से नमकीन स्नेक्स, मेसर्स पंजाबी मसाला से मसाला पाउडर तथा मेसर्स मां भवानी एजेंसी से कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर का नमूना संग्रहित कर परीक्षण हेतु प्रयोगशाला भेजा गया है। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि रिपोर्ट प्राप्त होने के बाद नियमानुसार आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने विशेष रूप से फल विक्रेताओं को सख्त निर्देश दिया कि फलों को कृत्रिम रूप से कैल्शियम कार्बाइड से न पकाया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि कैल्शियम कार्बाइड से पकाए गए फल स्वास्थ्य के लिए अत्यंत हानिकारक होते हैं और यह भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम, 2006 के प्रावधानों का स्पष्ट उल्लंघन है। यदि किसी भी दुकान में कार्बाइड का उपयोग पाया गया तो संबंधित विक्रेता के विरुद्ध विधि-सम्मत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि त्योहारों के दौरान मिलावट की आशंका बढ़ जाती है, इसलिए विभाग द्वारा लगातार निरीक्षण और सैंपलिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। आम नागरिकों से भी अपील की गई है कि वे संदिग्ध खाद्य सामग्री की सूचना विभाग को दें, ताकि समय पर जांच कर जनस्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
