Mumbai, March 5: India secured a thrilling 7-run victory over England in a high-scoring semi-final clash of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, booking their place in the tournament final after a nail-biting contest at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Batting first, India delivered a powerful performance with the bat, posting a massive total on the scoreboard. Sanju Samson led the charge with a spectacular 89 runs off 42 balls, playing aggressive strokes all around the ground and keeping the scoreboard ticking. His innings included several boundaries and towering sixes that energized the packed stadium.
