जिला मुख्यालय गुमला में दिनदहाड़े चेन छिनतई का मामला, प्रकाश में आया है, अपराधी चुस्त – पुलिस सुस्त अब तक गिरफ्तारी नहीं

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय अपराधियों के गिफ्त में शुक्रवार शाम हुई चेन छिनतई की घटना के बावजूद पुलिस को अब तक कोई ठोस सुराग नहीं मिल पाया है। घटना के बाद से पुलिस लगातार जांच में जुटी है, लेकिन अपराधियों का पता नहीं चल सका है। बताया जाता है कि पालकोट रोड स्थित शक्ति मंदिर के समीप बाइक सवार दो अज्ञात युवकों ने एक महिला को निशाना बनाया।

जिला मुख्यालय स्थित डीएसपी रोड, बाबू वीर कुंवर सिंह कॉलोनी निवासी सती देवी अपने किसी निजी कार्य से पालकोट रोड गई हुई थीं। इसी दौरान अचानक एक बाइक पर सवार दो अज्ञात युवक उक्त सती देवी के पास पहुंचकर और एकाएक झपट्टा मारकर उनके गले से सोने की चैन छीन ली और उक्त घटना को अंजाम देने के बाद, उक्त दोनों अपराधी तेज रफ्तार से उक्त घटनास्थल से फरार होने में सफल रहे । दिनदहाड़े हुई उक्त वारदात से जिला मुख्यालय में दहशत का माहौल है। इधर, घटना के बाद पुलिस आसपास के क्षेत्रों में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों के फुटेज खंगाल रही है, लेकिन अब तक कोई अहम सुराग पुलिस के हाथ नहीं लगा है। पुलिस का कहना है कि अपराधियों की पहचान और गिरफ्तारी के लिए प्रयास जारी है।
