गोमिया—पीड़िता के पिता की शिकायत पर तेनुघाट ओपी पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एक 19 वर्षीय युवक को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। वहीं, पुलिस ने नाबालिग लड़की को सुरक्षित बरामद कर उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, यह मामला पेटरवार थाना कांड संख्या 56/26 से संबंधित है। शिकायत के आधार पर पुलिस ने आरोपी देव चंद हेंब्रम (उम्र 19 वर्ष), पिता कार्तिक हेंब्रम, निवासी पिथोड़िया, घरवाटांड़ पंचायत के विरुद्ध भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 137(2) एवं 96 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया।
तेनुघाट ओपी प्रभारी भजन लाल महतो ने बताया कि शिकायत मिलते ही पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए छापामारी अभियान चलाया, जिसमें लड़की को बरामद कर लिया गया। इसके बाद आरोपी को हिरासत में लेकर आवश्यक कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी करते हुए तेनुघाट जेल भेज दिया गया।
इस कार्रवाई में ओपी प्रभारी भजन लाल महतो, एसआई मनोज तिर्की तथा सशस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।
पुलिस ने बताया कि मामले की आगे की जांच जारी है।
