खनन सामग्री ढोने वाले वाहनों के लिए स्पष्ट नंबर प्लेट अनिवार्य, उल्लंघन करने पर होगी कड़ी कार्रवाई

गुमला : – गुमला जिला परिवहन विभाग, के संज्ञान में यह आया है कि जिले में खनन सामग्री जैसे बालू, गिट्टी, पत्थर आदि का परिवहन करने वाले विभिन्न वाहनों—जैसे हाईवा, ट्रक एवं ट्रैक्टर—पर या तो आगे-पीछे नंबर प्लेट नहीं लगी है अथवा नंबर स्पष्ट रूप से अंकित नहीं है। कई मामलों में नंबर इस प्रकार लिखे गए हैं कि वे पढ़ने योग्य नहीं हैं या मानकों के अनुरूप नहीं हैं। यह मोटरयान अधिनियम का स्पष्ट उल्लंघन है।

इस संबंध में जिला परिवहन कार्यालय, गुमला द्वारा निम्नलिखित निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं—

नंबर प्लेट की अनिवार्यता:

सभी मालवाहक वाहनों के आगे एवं पीछे मानक अनुरूप नंबर प्लेट लगी होना अनिवार्य होगा। नंबर अंग्रेजी अंकों में स्पष्ट एवं पठनीय होना चाहिए।

नंबर प्लेट की स्थिति:

वाहन के पीछे लगी नंबर प्लेट धूल, मिट्टी अथवा लोहे के गार्ड आदि से ढकी नहीं होनी चाहिए, ताकि वह हर स्थिति में स्पष्ट दिखाई दे।

विशेष जांच अभियान:

नंबर प्लेट की अनिवार्यता सुनिश्चित करने हेतु विभाग द्वारा विशेष जांच अभियान चलाया जाएगा। जांच के दौरान यदि कोई वाहन बिना नंबर प्लेट या अवैध – अस्पष्ट नंबर के साथ पाया जाता है, तो उस पर तत्काल अर्थदंड अधिरोपित करते हुए वाहन जब्ती की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

जिला परिवहन कार्यालय, गुमला द्वारा जिले के सभी वाहन स्वामियों एवं ट्रांसपोर्टरों से अपील की गई है कि वे निर्धारित नियमों का पालन करें तथा सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने में जिला प्रशासन का सहयोग करें।
