खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग का सघन निरीक्षण अभियान, स्वच्छता एवं लाइसेंस को लेकर दुकानदारों को दी गई सख्त हिदायत

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त के निर्देश एवं अभिहित अधिकारी सह अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. धनुर्जय सुम्ब्रई के मार्गदर्शन में आज गुमला जिला अंतर्गत चैनपुर प्रखंड के साप्ताहिक बाजार में खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग द्वारा सघन निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया गया। यह संयुक्त अभियान खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी तथा पशुपालन पदाधिकारी चैनपुर डॉ. धर्म रक्षित विद्यार्थी के नेतृत्व में संचालित किया गया। अभियान में प्रशासनिक सहयोग एवं विधि व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में चैनपुर थाना के एसआई राजेंद्र मंडल की भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।

निरीक्षण अभियान का मुख्य उद्देश्य आम नागरिकों को सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराना, खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम के प्रावधानों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करना तथा बाजार क्षेत्र में स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना था। निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्य रूप से चिकन दुकानों, मांस विक्रेताओं, मछली दुकानों एवं अन्य खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों की गहन जांच की गई।

अधिकारियों द्वारा दुकानों में साफ-सफाई की स्थिति, खाद्य पदार्थों के भंडारण, उपयोग किए जा रहे पानी की स्वच्छता, खाद्य सामग्री को ढककर रखने की व्यवस्था, कचरा प्रबंधन तथा उपभोक्ताओं के स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा से जुड़े विभिन्न बिंदुओं की बारीकी से जांच की गई। कई दुकानों में साफ-सफाई संतोषजनक नहीं पाए जाने पर दुकानदारों को तत्काल सुधार करने की सख्त चेतावनी दी गई।

खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी श्री प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी ने सभी खाद्य कारोबारियों को स्पष्ट रूप से निर्देशित किया कि खाद्य व्यवसाय संचालन हेतु खाद्य सुरक्षा लाइसेंस एवं रजिस्ट्रेशन लेना अनिवार्य है। बिना लाइसेंस अथवा पंजीकरण के खाद्य कारोबार संचालित करने वालों के विरुद्ध खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई की जा सकती है। उन्होंने दुकानदारों को अपने प्रतिष्ठानों में ढक्कन युक्त डस्टबिन रखने, नियमित साफ-सफाई बनाए रखने, खाद्य पदार्थों को खुले में नहीं रखने तथा अपशिष्ट पदार्थों का उचित निस्तारण करने के निर्देश दिए।

निरीक्षण के दौरान यह भी देखा गया कि कुछ दुकानदार खाद्य सामग्री को अस्वच्छ वातावरण में रखकर बिक्री कर रहे थे। इस पर अधिकारियों ने नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की लापरवाही आम लोगों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए गंभीर खतरा बन सकती है। टीम द्वारा दुकानदारों को स्वच्छता मानकों का पालन करने, साफ एप्रन एवं दस्ताने का उपयोग करने तथा खाद्य सामग्री को सुरक्षित तापमान में रखने की सलाह दी गई।

पशुपालन पदाधिकारी डॉ. धर्म रक्षित विद्यार्थी ने मांस एवं चिकन विक्रेताओं को विशेष रूप से निर्देशित किया कि वे केवल स्वस्थ पशुओं एवं पक्षियों के मांस की बिक्री करें तथा काटने एवं भंडारण की प्रक्रिया में स्वच्छता का विशेष ध्यान रखें। उन्होंने कहा कि दूषित एवं अस्वच्छ मांस से कई प्रकार की गंभीर बीमारियां फैल सकती हैं, इसलिए सभी विक्रेताओं को निर्धारित मानकों का पालन करना अनिवार्य है।

निरीक्षण टीम ने आम लोगों से भी अपील की कि वे हमेशा स्वच्छ एवं लाइसेंसधारी दुकानों से ही खाद्य सामग्री खरीदें तथा किसी भी प्रकार की मिलावट, गंदगी या खाद्य सुरक्षा संबंधी शिकायत की सूचना संबंधित विभाग को दें। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि आम जनता के स्वास्थ्य के साथ किसी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा तथा भविष्य में भी जिले के विभिन्न बाजारों एवं खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों में इस प्रकार के सघन निरीक्षण अभियान लगातार चलाए जाते रहेंगे।
