गुमला : – गुमला जिले में प्रत्येक वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी बिगड़ैल जंगली हाथियों का तांडव, जारी है,वही संबंधित वन विभाग मूकदर्शक बनकर तमाशा देख रही हैं, जबकि सर्वविदित है कि प्रत्येक वर्ष सारंडा जंगल से बिगड़ैल हाथियों का झुंड उक्त जिलों में प्रवेश करता है , जैसे गुमला, खूटी, लोहरदगा और सिमडेगा जिले के विभिन्न जंगली और पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में निवास करने वाले सुदूर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रो में प्रवेश कर ग्रामीणों के मिट्टी के घर, घरेलू सामान, खेती बाड़ी, सहित जानमाल का नुकसान पहुंचाया रहता है, और संबंधित वन विभाग मूकदर्शन बनकर तमाशा देखती रहती है, और मुआवजा देने के नाम पर बड़े पैमाने पर रहस्यमय तरीके से हेरा फेरी की जाती है,

फिलहाल गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित भरनो प्रखंड मुख्यालय से सटे कुम्हरों गांव में देर रात जंगली हाथी ने जमकर उत्पात मचाया। बताया जाता है कि झुंड से बिछड़े हाथी ने उक्त गांव के निवासी मंगरीता कुमारी के मिट्टी के घर को दो अलग-अलग हिस्से में तोड़फोड कर बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया हैं । घटना के समय मंगरीता अपने दो बेटी सात वर्षीय अनुष्का और ढाई वर्षीय अंशु के साथ घर में सो रही थी। इसी क्रम बिगड़ैल हाथी द्वारा एकाएक हुए उक्त हमले से पूरे परिवार बुरी तरह सहम गया है।

उनके घर को तोड़कर घरेलू सामान बर्बाद कर , घर के अंदर रखें धान को खाकर चला गए, गलीमत यह रही की इस क्रम में किसी की जान माल की नुकसान नहीं हुई, और तो और उक्त हाथी के द्वारा घर के अंदर रखा पलंग, अलमारी, कुर्सी, टेबल और बर्तन समेत कई अन्य घरेलू सामानो को क्षतिग्रस्त करते हुए घर में रखे लगभग दस क्विंटल धान भी हाथी खा गया और काफी मात्रा में बर्बाद कर दिया। मंगरीता के अनुसार, हाथी करीब एक घंटे तक घर के आसपास घूमता रहा।

जिससे पूरे गांव में भय का माहौल बना रहा। बाद में उक्त घटना की सूचना ग्रामीणों ने वन विभाग को दे दी है। वन विभाग की टीम पहुंची और घटना के बारे में जानकारी लेते हुए, पीड़ित महिला को बच्ची के इलाज हेतु तत्काल 10 हजार रुपए दिए और बाकी प्रक्रिया के बाद मुआवजा देने का आश्वासन दिया।

उक्त घायल बच्ची के कमर में गंभीर चोट आई है, बताया जाता है कि

उक्त घटना के बाद आसपास के क्षेत्र में अफरा-तफरी मच गई, और उक्त कोलाहल को सुनकर आसपास के ग्रामीण घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर आनन फानन में परिजनों और ग्रामीणों की मदद से उक्त घायल बच्ची को तुरंत भरनो सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र ले जाया गया। जहां उसका इलाज चल रहा है। डॉक्टरों के अनुसार, अनुष्का के कमर में गंभीर चोट आई है।

ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि मंगरीता कुमारी के पति शंकर उरांव रोजी-रोटी की तलाश में दूसरे प्रदेश में ईंट भट्ठा में काम करने गए हुए हैं, फलस्वरूप उक्त महिला घर में अपनी दोनों बेटियों के साथ अकेली रहती है। अचानक हुए इस हमले से परिवार पूरी तरह सहम गया है।

घर के सभी घरेलू सामान तबाह, कर उक्त बिगड़ैल हाथी धान खाकर चला गया हैं, फिर भी उसके आने की संभावना से पूरा क्षेत्र भयभीत है

और पूरे गांव में भय का माहौल व्याप्त है । परिजनों ने बताया कि

उक्त बिगड़ैल हाथी द्वारा घर की दीवार तोड़ से और दीवार का मलबा सीधे उस पलंग पर गिरा था , जहां तीनों मां बेटी सो रही थी। इस हादसे में अनुष्का कुमारी मलबे में दबकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई थी। जबकि उक्त मां ने जल्दी बाजी में अपनी छोटी बेटी को लेकर किसी तरह खुद को बचाया और बिगड़े हाथी के जाने के बाद वह जोर-जोर से चिल्ला कर ग्रामीणों को इकट्ठा कर मालवे में दबी बच्चों को बचाया और इलाज के लिए अस्पताल ले जाया गया ।
