धनबाद के चिरागोड़ा क्षेत्र स्थित एक किराए के मकान में गुरुवार को 31 वर्षीय मेडिकल रिप्रेजेंटेटिव (एमआर) चिराग लक्ष्मी का शव फंदे से लटका मिला। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए शहीद निर्मल महतो मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल भेज दिया। इस घटना के बाद इलाके में शोक और सनसनी का माहौल है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, चिराग धनबाद में अकेले रहकर नौकरी करता था। गुरुवार को जब उसके कमरे से कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं मिली तो आसपास के लोगों को शक हुआ। सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस ने दरवाजा खुलवाया, जहां चिराग का शव फांसी के फंदे से लटका मिला। पुलिस ने मौके से आवश्यक साक्ष्य जुटाकर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
धनबाद थाना के एएसआई हरि प्रसाद नारायण ने बताया कि आत्महत्या के कारणों का फिलहाल स्पष्ट रूप से पता नहीं चल सका है। उन्होंने कहा कि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट और जांच के बाद ही घटना के वास्तविक कारणों का खुलासा हो सकेगा।
वहीं, मृतक के पिता कुंदन कुमार ने कंपनी और उसके अधिकारियों पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। उनका कहना है कि नौकरी शुरू करने के बाद से ही चिराग पर लगातार अधिक काम करने और निर्धारित लक्ष्य (टारगेट) पूरा करने का दबाव बनाया जा रहा था। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि कंपनी के मैनेजर और कलेक्शन विभाग से जुड़े लोग उसे मानसिक रूप से प्रताड़ित करते थे, जिससे वह लंबे समय से तनाव में था।
परिजनों के अनुसार, चिराग पिछले कुछ महीनों से मानसिक दबाव का सामना कर रहा था। पुलिस सभी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखकर मामले की जांच कर रही है और परिजनों के आरोपों की भी पड़ताल की जाएगी।
