उपायुक्त ने जल जीवन मिशन एवं पेयजल योजनाओं की समीक्षा की, शत-प्रतिशत पेयजल उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के दिए निर्देश

गुमला : –गुमला उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार को समाहरणालय सभागार में पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग अंतर्गत संचालित जल जीवन मिशन एवं अन्य पेयजल योजनाओं की समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में जिले में पेयजल आपूर्ति, नल कूपों की मरम्मती, हर घर जल कनेक्शन, जल गुणवत्ता परीक्षण, ओडीएफ प्लस मॉडल विलेज तथा विभिन्न योजनाओं की प्रगति की विस्तृत समीक्षा की गई।

समीक्षा के दौरान उपायुक्त ने खराब पड़े नलकूपों एवं चापाकलों की मरम्मती की अद्यतन स्थिति की जानकारी ली तथा संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि सभी लंबित मरम्मती कार्यों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर अविलंब पूर्ण किया जाए, ताकि ग्रामीणों को पेयजल उपलब्धता में किसी प्रकार की कठिनाई का सामना न करना पड़े।

उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि जिले के ऐसे क्षेत्रों को चिन्हित किया जाए, जहां आज भी लोग चुआ, झरना अथवा अन्य प्राकृतिक स्रोतों से पानी संग्रह करने को विवश हैं। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को स्थलीय निरीक्षण कर ऐसे सभी परिवारों को जल जीवन मिशन के अंतर्गत कार्यात्मक घरेलू नल कनेक्शन (एफएचटीसी) से आच्छादित करने हेतु आवश्यक कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया।

बैठक में झारजल पोर्टल पर दर्ज खराब चापाकलों एवं उनकी मरम्मती से संबंधित आंकड़ों की भी समीक्षा की गई। बताया गया कि जिले में वर्तमान में कुल घरेलू नल कनेक्शन कवरेज लगभग 68 प्रतिशत है। एफएचटीसी सैचुरेशन प्लान के अंतर्गत निर्धारित 2,09,151 लक्ष्य के विरुद्ध अब तक 1,45,704 घरेलू नल कनेक्शन प्रदान किए जा चुके हैं। उपायुक्त ने शेष परिवारों को भी शीघ्र पेयजल सुविधा से जोड़ने हेतु कार्यों में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।

समीक्षा के क्रम में जल जीवन मिशन योजनाओं की अद्यतन प्रगति, विशेष रूप से पीवीटीजी क्षेत्रों में संचालित योजनाओं, ग्राम जल एवं स्वच्छता समितियों की गतिविधियों तथा विभिन्न योजनाओं में जिले की राज्य स्तरीय रैंकिंग एवं उपलब्धियों की भी समीक्षा की गई। उपायुक्त ने कार्य निष्पादन में सुधार लाने हेतु प्रभावी इम्प्रूवमेंट प्लान तैयार कर निर्धारित समय-सीमा में लक्ष्यों की प्राप्ति सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया।

बैठक में जल गुणवत्ता परीक्षण (वाटर टेस्टिंग) कार्यों की प्रगति, जल सहियाओं की नियुक्ति, व्यक्तिगत शौचालय स्वीकृति एवं स्वच्छता से जुड़े विभिन्न पहलुओं पर भी चर्चा की गई। ओडीएफ प्लस मॉडल विलेज के तहत जिले में 9,44 गांवों के विरुद्ध 2,44 गांवों को मॉडल विलेज के रूप में विकसित किए जाने की जानकारी दी गई, जो कुल लक्ष्य का 24.84 प्रतिशत है। उपायुक्त ने इस दिशा में कार्यों में तेजी लाते हुए शत-प्रतिशत लक्ष्य प्राप्त करने के निर्देश दिए।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि आगामी समीक्षा बैठक में विभागीय प्रगति की तुलनात्मक रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की जाए, ताकि योजनाओं के क्रियान्वयन की वास्तविक स्थिति का आकलन कर आवश्यक सुधारात्मक कदम उठाए जा सकें।

बैठक में मुख्य रूप से उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेष रंजन, कार्यपालक अभियंता, पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग अनुज कुमार मिश्रा, जिला समन्वयक सूर्यकांत सुमन, सभी सहायक अभियंता तथा विभाग के अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
