गुमला : – गुमला जिले में 30 जून से प्रारंभ होकर 29 जुलाई 2026 तक चल रहे विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण ( एस आई आर ) कार्यक्रम के व्यापक प्रचार-प्रसार एवं मतदाता जागरूकता को सुदृढ़ करने के उद्देश्य से आज उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने समाहरणालय परिसर से एसआईआर जागरूकता रथ को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त ने कहा कि विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य प्रत्येक पात्र नागरिक का नाम मतदाता सूची में शामिल करना, अपात्र एवं मृत मतदाताओं के नाम हटाना तथा मतदाता सूची को त्रुटिरहित, अद्यतन एवं पारदर्शी बनाना है। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिए प्रत्येक पात्र नागरिक का मतदाता सूची में नाम दर्ज होना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि जागरूकता रथ जिले के सभी प्रखंडों, पंचायतों एवं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भ्रमण कर आम नागरिकों को विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम की जानकारी देगा। साथ ही मतदाता सूची में नाम जोड़ने, संशोधन, विलोपन एवं स्थानांतरण की प्रक्रिया तथा निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित कार्यक्रमों के संबंध में भी लोगों को जागरूक किया जाएगा। रथ के माध्यम से ऑडियो संदेश, प्रचार सामग्री एवं विभिन्न जनसंपर्क गतिविधियों के जरिए अधिक-से-अधिक लोगों तक अभियान का संदेश पहुंचाया जाएगा।
उपायुक्त ने जिले के सभी नागरिकों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि 30 जून से 29 जुलाई 2026 तक चल रहे विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम में सक्रिय सहयोग करें। पात्र मतदाता समय पर अपने प्रपत्र भरें, आवश्यक दस्तावेज उपलब्ध कराएं तथा अपने परिवार, पड़ोस एवं अन्य लोगों को भी इस अभियान से जोड़ने के लिए प्रेरित करें, ताकि जिले की मतदाता सूची पूर्णतः शुद्ध एवं अद्यतन बनाई जा सके।
इस अवसर पर उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सहित निर्वाचन विभाग के कर्मी तथा जिला प्रशासन के अन्य पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
