गुमला जिले में जिला मुख्यालय स्थित करौन्दी मालवीय नगर गुमला स्थित महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ स्वामी मंदिर परिसर ( मेलाटांड़ ) गुमला में और गुमला जिला मुख्यालय से दस कीलोमीटर दूर स्धित नगफेनी कोयल नदी तट पर स्थित महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ स्वामी मंदिर परिसर से निकलती हैं प्रतिवर्ष में दो बार रध यात्राएंयें

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत जिला मुख्यालय करौंदी ग्राम मालवीय नगर स्थित महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ स्वामी मंदिर में और गुमला जिला मुख्यालय से लगभग 10 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित कोयल नदी तट पर स्थित मंदिर में विराजमान महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ स्वामी अपनी – बहन सुभद्रा और भाई बलराम जी महाराज के साथ अपने रथ में सवार होकर अपने मौसी के घर मौसी बड़ी में स्वास्थ्य लाभ हेतु 15 दिनों के एकांतवास पर जाएंगे महाप्रभु जगन्नाथ

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ स्वामी जी महाराज की वार्षिक में दो बार निकलती हैं रथयात्रा
उक्त महोत्सव की शुरुआत सोमवार को देव स्नान यात्रा के साथ होगी। इसे लेकर उक्त दोनों मंदिर परिसर में सभी तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। दोपहर 1 बजे स्नान यात्रा पूजा आरंभ होगी, जिसका समापन 1:45 बजे होगा। इसके बाद 1:50 बजे महाआरती और दोपहर 2 बजे से 3:30 बजे तक श्रद्धालु भगवान का जलाभिषेक करेंगे। इस दौरान 108 मंगल आरती, जगन्नाथ अष्टकम और श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता का पाठ भी होगा।

शाम 4 बजे स्नान यात्रा के बाद धार्मिक परंपरा के अनुसार भगवान महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ, भगवान बलभद्र स्वमी और माता सुभद्रा 15 दिनों के लिए एकांतवास (अनवसर) में चले जाएंगे। इस अवधि में भगवान के दर्शन नहीं होंगे और श्रद्धालु केवल राधा-कृष्ण की प्रतिमाओं के दर्शन कर सकेंगे। 15 जुलाई 2026 को भगवान एlकांतवास से बाहर आएंगे। इसके बाद नेत्रोत्सव होगा और अगले दिन भगवान महाप्रभु जय जगन्नाथ अपने अद्भुत आकर्षक और अलौकिक भव्य रथ पर सवार होकर नौ दिनों के लिए मौसीबाड़ी प्रस्थान करेंगे, और 25 जुलाई 2026 को उनकी वापसी उनके अपने मुख्य मंदिर में होगी।
देव स्नान यात्रा के लिए इस वर्ष 53 पवित्र घड़ों की व्यवस्था की गई है। इन घड़ों के जल में गंगाजल, अश्वगंधा, मधु, हल्दी, इत्र सहित विभिन्न पूजन सामग्रियां मिलाकर भगवान का अभिषेक किया जाएगा। सबसे पहले भगवान बलभद्र, फिर माता सुभद्रा और अंत में भगवान जगन्नाथ का स्नान कराया जाएगा।
धार्मिक मान्यता है कि स्नान पूर्णिमा के दिन भक्तों द्वारा भगवान को अत्यधिक स्नान कराने के कारण वे अस्वस्थ हो जाते हैं और 15 दिनों तक गरुड़ मंदिर में एकांतवास करते हैं। इस दौरान उनका पंचगव्य, दूध, घी, शहद, इत्र और गंगाजल से महाभिषेक किया जाएगा। साथ ही भगवान जगन्नाथ की कथा, महाआरती और प्रसाद वितरण का आयोजन भी होगा।
उधर, आगामी रथयात्रा को लेकर रथ निर्माण का कार्य भी अंतिम चरण में पहुंच चुका है। सनातन परंपरा और पुरी की परंपरा के अनुसार रथयात्रा महोत्सव की औपचारिक शुरुआत स्नान पूर्णिमा से ही मानी जाती है, में गंगाजल, अश्वगंधा, मधु, हल्दी, इत्र सहित विभिन्न पूजन सामग्रियां मिलाकर भगवान का अभिषेक किया जाएगा। सबसे पहले भगवान बलभद्र, फिर माता सुभद्रा और अंत में भगवान जगन्नाथ का स्नान कराया जाएगा।
