भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की गतिविधियों के विस्तार पर जोर, सदस्यता अभियान एवं जन-जागरूकता कार्यक्रम चलाने के दिए गए निर्देश

गुमला : – गुमला भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी, जिला शाखा गुमला की कार्यसमिति की बैठक सोमवार को समाहरणालय स्थित उपायुक्त कार्यालय कक्ष में उपायुक्त सह रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के अध्यक्ष दिलेश्वर महत्तो की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई। बैठक में रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की गतिविधियों के विस्तार, सदस्यता अभियान को गति देने, स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान को बढ़ावा देने तथा सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़े विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।

बैठक के दौरान उपायुक्त ने कहा कि भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण सामाजिक संस्था है, जो आपदा प्रबंधन, स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं और जनकल्याण के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। उन्होंने कहा कि संस्था के सदस्यों को और अधिक सक्रिय होकर समाजहित में कार्य करने की आवश्यकता है।

उपायुक्त ने जिले में रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के सदस्यता अभियान को व्यापक स्तर पर चलाने, अधिक से अधिक लोगों को स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान के लिए प्रेरित करने तथा सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति छात्र-छात्राओं एवं अभिभावकों को जागरूक करने पर विशेष जोर दिया। इसके अलावा उन्होंने युवाओं को नशापान से दूर रखने के उद्देश्य से प्रखंड स्तर पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम संचालित करने की आवश्यकता बताई।

उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि जिले के अनुमंडल पदाधिकारियों से समन्वय स्थापित कर अनुमंडल स्तर पर भी सदस्यता अभियान. चलाया जाए तथा रेड क्रॉस समितियों का गठन किया जाए। इस संबंध में उपायुक्त ने सदर अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी अखिलेश कुमार को रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के सचिव के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर विस्तृत कार्ययोजना तैयार करने का निर्देश दिया।

बैठक में सिविल सर्जन डॉ. शंभूनाथ चौधरी ने अपने पूर्व अनुभवों को साझा करते हुए स्वैच्छिक रक्तदान एवं अन्य सामाजिक गतिविधियों के संबंध में महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव दिए। वहीं, सदर अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी अखिलेश कुमार ने रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की गतिविधियों के संचालन एवं विस्तार में हरसंभव सहयोग प्रदान करने का आश्वासन दिया।

इस अवसर पर रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी के सचिव बलदेव प्रसाद शर्मा ने कार्यसमिति के सभी सदस्यों का परिचय कराया तथा समिति द्वारा पूर्व में संचालित गतिविधियों एवं कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी।

बैठक में सह सचिव शशि प्रिय बंटी, कार्यसमिति सदस्य मुरली मनोहर प्रसाद, विनय प्रसाद गुप्ता, आशिक अंसारी, हाफिजुर रहमान, नटवरलाल अग्रवाल, सरजू साहू, विनय कुमार एवं दीपक कुमार गुप्ता सहित अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित थे। सभी सदस्यों ने रेड क्रॉस सोसाइटी की गतिविधियों को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाने के संबंध में अपने-अपने सुझाव दिए ।
