स्वच्छ गुमला के संकल्प के साथ निकली स्वच्छता रैली, उप विकास आयुक्त ने दिलाई स्वच्छता की शपथ

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में स्वच्छता के प्रति आमजनों को जागरूक करने एवं एकल उपयोग प्लास्टिक के उपयोग को हतोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से मंगलवार को नगर परिषद, गुमला द्वारा पूर्व निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के तहत शहर के प्रमुख मार्गों पर भव्य स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में उप विकास आयुक्त, गुमला अनिमेष रंजन मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए।

स्वच्छता रैली में नगर परिषद के उपाध्यक्ष, वार्ड पार्षदगण, कार्यपालक पदाधिकारी, नगर प्रबंधक, नगर परिषद के अधिकारी एवं कर्मी, सफाई मित्र, चेंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स, बस एसोसिएशन, रोटरी क्लब, अंजुमन इस्लामिया के प्रतिनिधियों सहित शहर के अनेक गणमान्य नागरिकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। रैली के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने स्वच्छता एवं प्लास्टिक मुक्त गुमला के संदेश से युक्त नारों के माध्यम से आमजन को स्वच्छ वातावरण बनाए रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

रैली के समापन के पश्चात नगर भवन, गुमला में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में उप विकास आयुक्त ने उपस्थित सभी लोगों को स्वच्छता एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण की शपथ दिलाई। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि स्वच्छता केवल नगर परिषद या प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी नहीं, बल्कि प्रत्येक नागरिक का नैतिक दायित्व है। स्वच्छ एवं स्वस्थ समाज के निर्माण के लिए जनभागीदारी सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है। यदि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने घर, मोहल्ले एवं सार्वजनिक स्थलों को स्वच्छ रखने का संकल्प ले, तो गुमला को स्वच्छ एवं सुंदर जिला बनाने का लक्ष्य आसानी से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

उन्होंने लोगों से एकल उपयोग प्लास्टिक का प्रयोग पूरी तरह बंद करने तथा दैनिक जीवन में कपड़े अथवा अन्य पर्यावरण अनुकूल थैलों का उपयोग करने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण पर्यावरण और मानव स्वास्थ्य दोनों के लिए गंभीर चुनौती है। इसके प्रति जागरूक होकर व्यवहार में परिवर्तन लाना समय की आवश्यकता है।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान आम नागरिकों के बीच लगभग 2,000 कपड़े की थैलियों का वितरण किया गया तथा सभी से प्लास्टिक की थैलियों का उपयोग नहीं करने और स्वच्छता अभियान को जनआंदोलन बनाने का आग्रह किया गया।
