नेहरू हॉकी टूर्नामेंट 2026 में गुमला का दबदबा, अंडर-15 बालक और अंडर-17 बालिका वर्ग में जीता खिताब

गुमला। नेहरू हॉकी टूर्नामेंट 2026 में गुमला की टीमों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए दो वर्गों में चैंपियन बनने का गौरव हासिल किया। गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित संत इग्नेशियुस उच्च विद्यालय के मैदान में झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना, गुमला के तत्वावधान में आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में अलग-अलग विद्यालयों की टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया और अपनी खेल प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया।

अंडर-15 बालक वर्ग के फाइनल मुकाबले में संत इग्नेशियुस उच्च विद्यालय, गुमला की टीम ने शानदार खेल दिखाते हुए जारी की टीम को 5-0 से हराया और खिताब अपने नाम किया। जारी की टीम उपविजेता रही, जबकि सिसई प्रखंड के जैरा की टीम ने तीसरा स्थान हासिल किया।

वहीं अंडर-17 बालिका वर्ग के फाइनल में उर्सुलाइन कॉन्वेंट, गुमला और संत अन्ना बालिका विद्यालय, मांझाटोली की टीम के बीच मुकाबला हुआ। इसमें उर्सुलाइन कॉन्वेंट, गुमला की टीम ने दमदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए संत अन्ना बालिका विद्यालय, मांझाटोली को 5-0 से शिकस्त दी और विजेता बनी।

प्रतियोगिता का संचालन सहायक जिला कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी (एडीपीओ) ज्योति खलखो ने किया। समापन समारोह में जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक गुमला नूर आलम खां ने विजेता और उपविजेता टीमों के खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कार, ट्रॉफी और पदक देकर सम्मानित किया।

इस दौरान खिलाड़ियों के प्रदर्शन की सराहना करते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं दी गईं। प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यालय स्तर पर विद्यार्थियों की खेल प्रतिभा को आगे बढ़ाना, हॉकी के प्रति रुचि पैदा करना और खिलाड़ियों में स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा की भावना विकसित करना रहा।
