गुमला में विज्ञान अब किताबों तक सीमित नहीं, प्रदर्शनी बस से बच्चों को मिलेगा प्रयोगों के जरिए सीखने का मौका

गुमला: विज्ञान को किताबों से बाहर निकालकर बच्चों के रोजमर्रा के जीवन से जोड़ने की पहल गुमला में शुरू हुई है। जिला प्रशासन की ओर से एक महीने तक चलने वाली भ्रमणशील विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी की शुरुआत गुरुवार को पालकोट के कंदर्प उच्च विद्यालय से हुई। पहले ही दिन एक हजार से अधिक विद्यार्थियों ने प्रदर्शनी में शामिल होकर विज्ञान से जुड़ी गतिविधियों और प्रयोगों को करीब से समझा।

राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान संग्रहालय परिषद, कोलकाता की ओर से उपलब्ध कराई गई विशेष विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी बस अब जिले के अलग-अलग प्रखंडों के चयनित नौ विद्यालयों तक पहुंचेगी। प्रदर्शनी का उद्देश्य माध्यमिक और उच्चतर माध्यमिक कक्षाओं के विद्यार्थियों को विज्ञान के विषयों को प्रत्यक्ष गतिविधियों और प्रयोगों के जरिए समझने का अवसर देना है।

कंदर्प उच्च विद्यालय से विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी बस को प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी विजय उरांव, सांसद प्रतिनिधि बसंत गुप्ता, बीपीओ एंजलीना मिंज, मुखिया जसिंता मिंज समेत स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों और शिक्षकों ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।

पानी से रसायन विज्ञान तक, प्रयोगों से समझ रहे बच्चे

इस बार भ्रमणशील प्रदर्शनी का मुख्य विषय “जल पर केंद्रित रसायन विज्ञान और जीवन” रखा गया है। डेमोंस्ट्रेटर भोलानाथ ने विद्यार्थियों को पानी की गुणवत्ता, स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित पेयजल, जल संरक्षण तथा मानव जीवन में पानी की भूमिका से जुड़े विषयों को गतिविधियों के जरिए समझाया।

विद्यार्थियों को यह भी बताया गया कि उनके आसपास की रोजमर्रा की चीजों और गतिविधियों में विज्ञान किस तरह काम करता है। परिचर्चा और प्रयोगात्मक गतिविधियों के जरिए बच्चों को विषय समझाने की कोशिश की गई, ताकि विज्ञान उनके लिए सिर्फ पाठ्यक्रम का हिस्सा न रहकर अनुभव का विषय बने।

विज्ञान के प्रति जिज्ञासा बढ़ाने पर जोर

प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी विजय उरांव ने कहा कि यह पहल उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो की उस सोच का हिस्सा है, जिसके तहत विद्यार्थियों को प्रयोग और गतिविधि आधारित तरीके से विज्ञान से जोड़ने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इससे बच्चों में वैज्ञानिक सोच, जिज्ञासा और नवाचार की भावना को बढ़ावा मिलने की उम्मीद है।

कंदर्प उच्च विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका अलमा सुरीन ने कहा कि इस तरह की गतिविधियों से विद्यार्थियों को विज्ञान को करीब से समझने और खुद प्रयोग करने की प्रवृत्ति विकसित करने में मदद मिलेगी।

पालकोट के बाद बसिया पहुंचेगी विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी

प्रदर्शनी को लेकर पालकोट प्रखंड में पहले से तैयारी की गई थी। प्रखंड स्तरीय नोडल पदाधिकारी सह बीपीओ एंजलीना मिंज ने बताया कि विद्यालयवार भ्रमण रोस्टर तैयार किया गया है और विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों के बीच जागरूकता गतिविधियां भी कराई गई हैं, ताकि अधिक से अधिक बच्चे इसका लाभ ले सकें।

भ्रमणशील विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी 3 सितंबर तक पालकोट प्रखंड में रहेगी। इसके बाद 5 सितंबर से बसिया प्रखंड में इसका आयोजन किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम के दौरान बीआरसी पालकोट के पदाधिकारी-कर्मी, बीआरपी-सीआरपी और विभिन्न विद्यालयों के शिक्षक भी मौजूद रहे।
