आपने इधर सोनपापड़ी जोक्स और मीम्स भारी संख्या में देखे होंगे। निर्दोष भाव से उन पर हँस भी दिए होंगे। पर अगली बार उस बाज़ार को समझिए जो मिठाई से लेकर दवाई तक और कपड़ों से लेकर संस्कृति तक में अपने नाखून गड़ाये बैठा है। एक ऐसी मिठाई जिसे एक स्थानीय कारीगर न्यूनतम संसाधनों में बना बेच लेता हो। जिसमें सिंथेटिक मावे की मिलावट न हो। जो अपनी शानदार पैकेजिंग और लंबी शेल्फ लाइफ के चलते आवश्यकता से अधिक मात्रा में उपलब्ध होने पर बिना दूषित हुए किसी और को दी जा सके, खोये की मिठाई की तरह सड़कर कूड़ेदान में न जा गिरे। आश्चर्य, बिल्कुल एक सुंदर, भरोसेमंद मनुष्य की तरह जिस सहजता के लिए इसका सम्मान होना चाहिए, इसे हेय किया जा रहा है। एक काम कीजिये डायबिटिक न हों तो घर में रखे सोनपापड़ी के डिब्बों में से एक को खोलिए। नायाब कारीगरी का नमूना गुदगुदी परतों वाला सोनपापड़ी का एक सुनहरा, सुगंधित टुकड़ा मुँह में रखिये। भीतर जाने से पहले होंठों पर ही न घुल जाये तो बनानेवाले का नाम बदल दीजियेगा। कई लोगों की पसंदीदा मिठाई यूँ ही नहीं है। बात बाज़ार से शुरू हुई थी, सोनपापड़ी तो तिरस्कार का विषय हुई। अब लंबी शेल्फ लाइफ और बढ़िया पैकेजिंग का दूसरा किफ़ायती उपहार और क्या हो सकता है? चॉकलेट्स!!! और क्या? समझ रहे होंगे। एक छोटे से उपहास के चलते, इधर के दो चार महीनों में ही कैडबरी का ही टर्न ओवर क्या से क्या हो सकता है मेरी कल्पना से बाहर की बात है। पिछले दो दशकों से वे बड़े- बड़े फ़िल्म स्टार्स को करोड़ों रुपये सिर्फ़ इस बात के दे रहे हैं कि हमारी जड़ बुद्धि में ‘कुछ मीठा हो जाये’ यानी चॉकलेट ठूँस सकें। और हम हैं कि अब भी मीठा यानी मिठाई ही सूँघते , ढूँढ़ते फिर रहे हैं। तो क्या करना चाहिए। मिठाई क्या यह तो प्रोटीन बार है, और चीनी तो हर मिठाई में है। और लोकप्रियता का आधार देखिये वो 35 रुपये में एक टुकड़ा देते हैं ये डिब्बाभर थमा देते हैं। सो, याद रखिये, मीठा यानी, गुलाबजामुन, रसगुल्ला, सोनपापड़ी और सूजी का हलवा। चॉकलेट यानी चॉकलेट।आप कैडबरी वालो को हम सोनपापड़ी वालों को तरफ से शुभ दीपावली।।साभार…एक सौम्य उपहार
