Position Overview:
As the Franchise Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Bata’s footprint in Ranchi through the strategic development of our franchise network. You will be responsible for identifying potential franchise partners, nurturing relationships, and driving growth by ensuring the successful establishment and operation of Bata franchise stores. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the success of a global brand and make your mark in the retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage with prospective franchise partners in Ranchi, fostering strong relationships and assessing their suitability to represent the Bata brand.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential franchisees, ensuring alignment with Bata’s values, standards, and business objectives.
Provide guidance and support to franchisees throughout the store setup process, including location selection, store design, inventory management, and staff training.
Monitor franchise store performance, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless implementation of franchise initiatives and adherence to brand guidelines.
Conduct regular meetings and training sessions with franchise partners to ensure consistent brand representation and operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in franchise development, business development, or retail management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for cultivating successful partnerships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Knowledge of the retail and fashion industry is a plus.
