It takes a fine degree of acting for an actor to depict various roles in the film industry that are regarded as extraordinary or out of league. One of them is acting the part of a transgender person. We are all looking forward to seeing Nawazuddin Siddiqui play the part of a transgender person in Haddi, which premieres on September 7 and has a lot of buzz surrounding it. In the meantime, we have compiled a list of performers who excelled in their transgender roles despite stepping outside of their comfort zones.
1. Haddi Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will portray a transgender character in his upcoming film Haddi, which will be released on September 7 and will only be broadcast on Zee5. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has a jaw-dropping appearance in the trailer. The actor has a reputation for giving strong performances in movies, so there are great hopes for him this time around as well.
2. Taali- Sushmita Sen
In her most recent web series Taali, which was broadcast on Jio Cinema on August 15th, Sushmita Sen plays the part of transgender social activist Shree Gauri Sawant. She received considerable amounts of praise for her acting and part.
3. Laxmi Bomb – Sharad Kelkar
The transgender character was portrayed by Sharad Kelkar in the Kanchana remake, Laxmi. In a few scenes, Akshay Kumar also portrayed a transgender person. The crowd adored Sharad Kelkar for his representation of a transgender person since it was so unique.
4. Gangubai Kathi wadi by Vijay Raaz
In the movie, Razia Bai, played primarily by Vijay Raaz, is Gangubai’s rival and a transgender person. persons made assumptions about his character since they believed that transgender persons didn’t stand a chance as a result. On the other side, many people praised Vijay’s portrayal of Razia Bai and his acting in the role.
5. Sangharsh – Ashutosh Rana
One of Ashutosh Rana’s most widely recognized and well-liked demonstrations was Lajja Shankar Pandey in the film Sangharsh. The character he played was shown abducting kids and sacrificing them in order to gain immortality. He is unquestionably one of Bollywood’s most gifted actors. Lajja Shankar Pandey, a transgender character in “Sangharsh,” is only one of the ace actor’s many noteworthy representations of them.
6. Sadak – Sadashiv Amrapurkar
The characterization of Maharani, a depraved transgender madam running a brothel, was played by Sadashiv Amrapurkar. The audience adored the way he portrayed the part, and it truly sent goosebumps down their spine.
7. Tamanna and Paresh Rawal
