Dharmendra Goswami comes from a very middle class family. After completing school and college, he pursued his career in the field of singing. He is also known as Chanchal. Champai Soren, the then MLA, liked his songs very much in Jagran and cultural programs. For this reason his closeness to Champai increased. Due to Champai, he got a job in Usha Martin Company which has now been taken over by Tata Steel.
Dharmendra is still an employee of Tata. In the year 2013, Dharmendra Goswami also contested the election of Adityapur Municipal Corporation Ward Councilor in which he suffered a crushing defeat. Dharmendra Goswami’s father name is Parameshwara Goswami. Dharmendra is a resident of Manjhi Tola near Srinath University of Adityapur in Saraikela Kharsawan district.
