आगामी लोकसभा (आम) चुनाव के निमित्त उपायुक्त ने की नगर परिषद के साथ बैठक

गुमला: आगामी लोकसभा (आम) चुनाव 2024 के निमित्त आज शनिवार को उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में शहरी क्षेत्र अंतर्गत मतदाताओं को जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से नगर परिषद के नगर परिषद कार्यपालक पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मियों के साथ एक विशेष बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें मुख्य रूप से एसडीओ सदर, जिला उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी की भी उपस्थिति रही।

इस दौरान उपायुक्त द्वारा राज्य सरकार से प्राप्त निर्देश के आलोक में शहरी क्षेत्र अंतर्गत मतदान दिवस एवं उससे पूर्व मतदाओं को जागरूक करने से संबंधित सभी तैयारियों को लेकर विशेष चर्चा की गई एवं उपायुक्त द्वारा आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिया गया।

उन्होंने कहा कि नगर परिषद क्षेत्र अंतर्गत कोई भी मतदाता न छुटे उसका ध्यान रखें।उपायुक्त ने सभी बीएलओ सुपरवाइजर को अपने अपने बीएलओ के साथ चुनाव संबंधित तैयारियों को लेकर सप्ताहिक बैठक करने का निर्देश दिया । मतदाता सूची का पुनः जांच करते हुए सूची में नए एवं छुटे हुए मतदाताओं का नाम जोड़ने एवं सूची में संशोधन करने का भी निर्देश दिया गया ।

उपायुक्त ने सभी संबंधित विभागों को आपस में समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए चुनाव की तैयारियों को सफल रूप देने को कहा। साथ ही 4 मार्च से तीन सप्ताह प्रारंभ होने विशेष हैश टैग #IamVerifiedVoter अभियान के तहत सभी बीएलओ को तीन सप्ताह तक प्रति दिन डोर टू डोर सर्वे करते हुए उसका रिपोर्ट देने का निर्देश दिया गया। इसके अलावा चुनाव से जुड़े अन्य कई मुख्य बिंदुओं पर उपायुक्त द्वारा आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिया गया।
