सेव योर लाइफ संस्था एवं सिविल सर्जन कार्यालय गुमला के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में महिला दिवस एक दिन पूर्व मनाया गया क्योंकि महिला दिवस के दिन सरकारी छुट्टी घोषित है सदर अस्पताल गुमला के विभिन्न वार्ड में काम करने वाली स्टाफ नर्स एएनएम एवं महिला डॉक्टर जो अपने दायित्वों का सबसे अच्छा प्रदर्शन करती है।  सिविल सर्जन गुमला डॉ राजू कच्छप एवं सेव योर लाइफ संस्था के सचिव संतोष झा बैजनाथ प्रसाद रमेश पांडे बबलू सिंह शुक्रा उरांव प्रवीण जी दिनेश जी के हाथों उनको प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं पौधा देकर सम्मानित किया गया। सम्मानित होने वाली नर्स एवं ए एन एम प्रसव कक्ष से सुश्री सुचिता बेक पोस्ट नेटल वार्ड से श्रीमती सीमा सुमन लकड़ा ओटी से श्रीमती निशा खाखा आपातकालीन कक्ष से श्रीमती रजनी केरकेट्टा पुरुष कक्ष से श्रीमती ललिता बड़ाईक महिला कक्ष से श्रीमती किशोरी तिर्की एम टी सी से सुश्री माधुरी एक्का सर्जिकल वार्ड से श्रीमती मेरी लूसी केरकेट्टा एस एन सी यू इकाई से सुश्री विमला कुमारी एवं डॉक्टर में डीपीओ जया रेशमा खाखा डॉ मोनिका डॉ प्रियांशी रही। सिविल सर्जन गुमला ने कहा कि समाज में अमूमन यह सोच है कि सेवा का पर्याय महिलाएं होती हैं समाज में पहले महिलाओं का घर से बाहर निकलना काम करना शिक्षा पाना आदि बहुत दुष्कर कार्य था। इन सभी बधाओं को पार करते हुए आज जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में महिलाएं अपनी भूमिका निभा रही है और यह सिद्ध कर रही है कि महिलाएं किसी से काम नहीं उन्होंने सम्मान पानी वाली सभी अभ्यर्थी से कहा आप सभी अच्छा काम करते हैं।  बेहतर काम करें इसलिए आपको सम्मानित किया जा रहा है और आपको देखकर अन्य लोग भी अच्छा करने का प्रयास करेंगे ऐसा उम्मीद है सेव योर लाइफ संस्था के सचिव संतोष झा ने कहा कि हमारे समाज में सेवा का पर्याय नर्स को माना जाता है इनकी आत्मीयता और लगन ही अस्पताल जैसी संस्थाओं की भूमिका को सिद्ध करती है रोगी के साथ इनका व्यवहार उपचार लगाव मैं परिणत हो जाता है।

अस्पताल से जाने वाले लोग इसे आत्मीयता से जुड़ जाते हैं इन्हीं का व्यवहार उन्हें अस्पताल में आने या ना आने की भूमिका बनाते हैं अस्पताल प्रबंधक इन्हें सम्मान देकर महिलाओं के प्रति श्रद्धा का भाव साबित करती है डी पी ओ डॉक्टर जया रेशमा खाखा ने कहा कि मैं स्वयं भी महिला हूं कितनी मशक्कत के बाद और कदम कदम पर खुद को साबित करते हुए आज इस मुकाम पर पहुंची हूं हमें उम्मीद है कि आने वाला समय महिलाओं का होगा और महिलाएं खुद को साबित कर समाज को दिखाएगी हमारा पेसा ही सेवा का है आज यह सम्मान हम सभी को गर्वांन्वित कर रहा है और कर्तव्य बोध कर रहा है हम सभी और अच्छा करने का प्रयास करेंगे जिससे हमारा प्रोफेशन और भी सम्मान से समाज की नजरों में देखा जा सके कार्यक्रम का समापन डॉ मोनिका ने सभा को धन्यवाद ज्ञापन करते हुए किया कार्यक्रम में भारी संख्या में नर्स उपस्थित थे।
