महाशिवरात्रि को लेकर घाघरा प्रखंड के विभिन्न शिवालयों में कलश यात्रा, भंडारा व शिव बारात सहित कई धार्मिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए । देवाकी बाबा धाम में अहले सुबह से ही भक्तों की लंबी कतार लग गई पूरा वातावरण नमः पार्वती पतये हर हर महादेव के नारे से गूंज उठा भक्तों ने भगवान भोलेनाथ व माता पार्वती की पूजा अर्चना कर सुख शांति व समृद्धि की कामना की । इस दौरान पूजा समिति के द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं को पूजा में परेशानी ना हो इसे देखते हुए मंदिर परिसर में समिति के लोग मौजूद थे ।

वहीं प्रशासन के द्वारा भी पुलिस की तैनाती मंदिर परिसर में की गई थी । सभी भक्त नदी से जल उठाकर भगवान भोलेनाथ व माता पार्वती की पूजा अर्चना किये। तथा आदर शिव मंदिर पूजा समिति के द्वारा भी इस महाशिवरात्रि के अवसर पर शुक्रवार को कलश यात्रा निकली गई । इस दौरान आदर भंडार टोली स्थित मंदिर परिसर से कलश यात्रा शुरू होकर देवाकी डैम पहुंची जहां आचार्य बबलू पाठक के द्वारा वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के साथ जल भारी कराई गई । इसके बाद पुनः हर हर महादेव बोल बम किनारे लगाते हुए सभी भक्त मंदिर परिसर पहुंचे जहां आचार्य के द्वारा विधिवत पूजा अर्चना कराई गई । इस संबंध में पूजा समिति के राजेश महतो ने बताया कि हर वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी शिवरात्रि के अवसर पर कलश यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया है ।

पूजा समिति के द्वारा कलश यात्रा के बाद विशाल भंडारा का आयोजन किया गया है । जिसके बाद सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम के साथ-साथ मेला का आयोजन भी किया गया है । कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए पूजा समिति के सदस्य पिछले एक महीने से तैयारी में लग चुके थे । इस मौके पर मुख्य रूप से राजेश महतो, पप्पू गुप्ता, विनोद गोप, दुर्गा गोप, वासुदेव महतो, विदुल महतो, कृष्णा साहू, परमानंद गोप व तुलसी गोप सहित सैकड़ो की संख्या में लोग मौजूद थे।
