स्थानीय बिरसा मुंडा सेंट्रल लाइब्रेरी, गुमला के सभागार में आज करियर काउंसलिंग कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया जिसमें भारतीय विदेश सेवा के अधिकारी श्री सौरभ दास जो वर्तमान में विदेश मंत्रालय भारत सरकार में कार्यरत हैं, ने विदेश सेवा के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी

सौरभ दास पूर्व में नैरोबी एवं मास्को में सेकेंड सेक्रेटरी रह चुके हैं और अपनी विदेश सेवा के क्रम में दुनिया के अनेक विकसित और विकासशील तथा पिछड़े देशों की यात्रा भी कर चुके हैं । उनके द्वारा बताया गया कि दुनिया के लगभग 200 देशों के साथ डिप्लोमेटिक समन्वय तथा उन देशों की सरकारों / राजनेताओं के साथ भारत के बेहतर राजनैतिक तथा व्यापारिक सम्बन्ध, आयात निर्यात सम्बन्धी नीतियों तथा बेहतर सम्बन्ध में विदेश सेवा के अधिकारियों की भूमिका होती है ।

उनके द्वारा यूपीएससी सहित इंजीनियरिंग, मेडिकल तथा अन्य प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के लिए टिप्स दिए एवं विशेष रूप से यूपीएससी की तैयारियों के लिए प्रिलिम्स एवं मेंस परीक्षा के प्रश्नपत्रों के पैटर्न पर चर्चा की गई । उनके द्वारा प्रतियोगी परीक्षा तैयारी कर रहे छात्रों के द्वारा परीक्षा तैयारी की स्टेटजी सम्बन्धी सवाल के जवाब में उनका मार्गदर्शन करते हुए उत्तर लिखने के कौशल हेतु बार बार प्रैक्टिस से दिमाग को ट्रेंड करने तथा कम शब्दों में प्रश्नों के मूल स्वरूप को समझते हुए मौलिक और ठोस जवाब लिखने के लिए नियमित अभ्यास पर चर्चा की तथा नोट्स मेकिंग सम्बन्धी सुझाव दिए । साथ ही उनके द्वारा अपनी तैयारियों की रणनीति भी सभी के साथ साझा की गई । उनके द्वारा इस काउंसलिंग के क्रम में सभी क्षेत्रों में उच्च शिक्षा सम्बन्धी रिसर्च फील्ड के बारे में भी जानकारी देते हुए इसे एक बेहतर विकल्प बताया गया । उन्होंने काउंसलिंग के क्रम में बैंकिंग, टीचिंग, कामर्स, फिशरी, मर्चेंट नेवी सहित अन्य स्टेट सर्विस की परीक्षाओं पर भी परिचर्चा की तथा छात्र छात्राओं की जिज्ञासाओं का जवाब देते हुए बताया कि सभी को जीवन में दुविधा की स्थिति से निकलकर मजबूत निर्णय लेते हुए ऊंचे ख्वाब देखने की जरूरत है ।साथ ही उन्हें पूरा करने के लिए प्रैक्टिकल रूप से समन्वित प्रयास के साथ आगे बढ़ने का भी आह्वान किया । उनके द्वारा तैयारियों के दौरान सोशल मीडिया/ सामाजिक मित्रों/ रिश्तेदारों से एक स्तर पर दूरी रखते हुए अपना ध्यान अपने लक्ष्य पर केंद्रित रखने तथा टॉपर्स/ स्ट्रगलर्स के वीडियो से मोटिवेट रहते हुए स्थानीय उपलब्ध सुविधाओं के बेहतर उपयोग एवं ऑनलाइन रिसोर्स के उपयोग की सलाह दी गई ।
उनके द्वारा सभी का मोटिवेशन करते हुए नियमित रूप से ध्यान और योग के माध्यम से तनाव प्रबंधन को अत्यधिक आवश्यक बताते हुए जोर दिया कि प्रेशर से बचने तथा सामान्य जीवन एवं मानसिक शांति के लिए नियमित रूप से ध्यान करना और खुश रहना अत्यधिक आवश्यक है ।

इस दौरान जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक नूर आलम खां, डिस्ट्रिक्ट फेलो रमेश कुमार, रिद्धि कपूर, बीपीओ दिलदार सिंह उपस्थित थे । लाइब्रेरी में विभिन्न प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर रहे लगभग 200 छात्र छात्राओं ने एक स्वर में कहा कि यह लाइब्रेरी उनकी तैयारियों के लिए रीढ़ की तरह काम कर रही है तथा इसकी तरह उत्कृष्ट एवं व्यवस्थित लाइब्रेरी का गुमला में होना उनके लिए एक ऊर्जा के स्रोत की तरह है ।
