गुमला – गुमला व्यवहार न्यायालय के एडीजे वन ( प्रथम ) की अदालत ने अपने जन्मदाता माता शनियारो देवी , पिता सुखराम बृजिया को 10 अक्टूबर 2021 को टांगी से मारकर दोहरे हत्याकांड को अंजाम देने वाले हत्यारे पुत्र विनोद बृजिया को हत्या करते चश्मदीद गवाह बाबूलाल बृजिया के द्वारा प्राथमिक की दर्ज की गई थी , जिसमें बाबूलाल बृजिया ने बताया था कि मैं लकड़ी लेकर घर आ रहा था इसी क्रम में देखा की विनोद वृजिया अपने मां शनिवारो देवी को टांगी के पीछे भाग से मारकर हत्या कर दी फिर अपने पिता सुखराम बृजिया को भी टांगी से मार हत्या कर दिया , मैं डर से उसे बचाने नहीं गया और हल्ला करने पर गांव के ग्रामीणों ने माता पिता के हत्यारे विनोद बृजिया को पकड़ कर पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया गया था , उक्त प्राथमिकी के आधार पर और न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत साक्ष्यों, गवहों के व्यान और दोनों पक्षों के वकीलों के बहसों के आधार पर विनोद वृजिया को दोषी ( हत्यारा ) क़रार देते हुए आजीवन कारावास और ₹50 ,000 रूपया अर्थ दंड का सजा सुनाई गई है , अर्थ दंड नहीं देने पर अभियुक्त को 2 साल का अतिरिक्त आश्रम कठोर कारावास की सजा सुनाई गई है।
