जिले में स्वीप गतिविधि के तहत हुआ फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन

नए मतदाताओं ने लिया प्रतियोगिता में भाग

मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त ने किया कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ

इंटरनेशनल फुटबॉल प्लेयर तथा जिला स्वीप आइकन अष्टम उरांव ने किया मतदाताओं को जागरूक

गुमला: आगमी लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 में जिलेवासियों द्वारा शत प्रतिशत मतदान करने एवं उन्हें अपने मताधिकार का उपयोग करने हेतु जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से स्वीप कार्यक्रम के तहत आज मंगलवार को जिला अलबर्ट एक्का स्टेडियम में बालक एवं बालिका का फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में जिले से चयनित नए मतदाताओं को उक्त प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने का अवसर प्रदान किया गया। उक्त प्रतियोगिता में 4 बालिका एवं 4 बालक की टीम ने भाग लिया जिसमें लगभग 88 बालक एवं बालिकाएं शामिल रहें।

कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थिति जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी एवं उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो द्वारा फुटबॉल को प्रथम किक मार कर उक्त प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ किया गया। उपायुक्त ने जिले के नए मतदाताओं को मतदान दिवस के लिए जागरूक किया सभी को लोकतंत्र में मतदान के महत्व के बारे में बताया। साथ ही आगामी लोकसभा निर्वाचन में शत प्रतिशत नैतिक मतदान हेतु सभी को जागरूक करने के लिए प्रेरित भी किया।

इस दौरान इंटरनेशन फुटबॉल प्लेयर एवं जिला की स्वीप आइकन अष्टम उरांव की भी कार्यक्रम में उपस्थिति रहीं। अष्टम उरांव ने भी वहां उपस्थित नए मतदाताओं एवं खिलाड़ियों को 13 मई को जिले में में होने वाले मतदान दिवस में भाग लेते हुए चुनाव के महा पर्व में अपना योगदान देने के प्रति सभी से अपील की।

आज के फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में बालक वर्ग में सिसई एवं बालिका वर्ग में एफ.सी. रियू गुमला की टीम ने विजयी हासिल किया। विजेता टीमों को उपायुक्त के द्वारा ट्रॉफी एवं स्वीप के तहत वाटर बॉटल देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन जिला समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी सह स्वीप नोडल पदाधिकारी आरती कुमारी एवं जिला खेल पदाधिकारी मनोज कुमार के द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया।
