मजदूरों की मेहनत और पसीने की कमाई पर ठेकेदारों का कब्जा, विशेषकर बंगाली ठेकेदारों का अत्याचार

गुमला : गुमला जिला मुख्यालय सहित जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंडों और ग्रामों में मजदूरों की गाढ़ी कमाई पर ठेकेदारों का कब्जा बढ़ता जा रहा है। सरकार ने मजदूरों के हक और अधिकार के लिए कई कड़े कानून बनाए हैं, जो पूर्ण रूप से लागू भी हैं। लेकिन इन कानूनों को नज़रअंदाज़ करते हुए गुमला जिले और पश्चिम बंगाल के ठेकेदार मजदूरों के मेहनत की कमाई पर सेंधमारी कर रहे हैं।

कामडारा प्रखंड में चल रही सरकार की कई योजनाओं में सैकड़ों मजदूर काम कर रहे हैं, लेकिन इन्हें सरकार द्वारा तय मजदूरी नहीं मिलती। मजदूर विरोध करने पर ठेकेदार उन्हें काम से निकालने की धमकी देते हैं, जिससे उनके पास कोई अन्य विकल्प नहीं बचता।

ये मजदूर दो जून की रोटी के लिए तरसते हैं, और उन्हें अपनी मेहनत की कमाई भी नहीं मिलती। राजनीतिक पार्टी के नेता और मजदूर नेता उनके हक की राजनीति तो करते हैं, लेकिन जब उनकी मेहनताना राशि दिलाने की बात आती है, तो कुछ नहीं होता।

सरकार को अब जरूरत है कि श्रम कानूनों के पालन कराने वाले अधिकारियों पर सख्ती से कार्रवाई करे और मजदूरों को उनकी मजदूरी निर्धारित दर पर मिल सके।
