अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर आईसेक्ट विश्वविद्यालय की ओर से ओपन एम्फी थियेटर में योग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के मौके पर झील परिसर स्थित ओपन एम्फी थियेटर परिसर में आईसेक्ट विश्वविद्यालय के एनएसएस इकाई के बैनर तले शुक्रवार को योग कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें विश्वविद्यालय के प्राध्यापक-प्राध्यापिकाओं के साथ साथ बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थी व अन्य लोग शरीक हुए। मौके पर योगाचार्य मनीष कुमार ने सुबह पांच बजे 7 बजे के बीच मौजूद लोगों को सूर्य नमस्कार, पद्मासन, चक्रासन, मयुरासन, वक्रासन, ताड़ासन, प्राणायाम सहित कई महत्वपूर्ण योग कराए। साथ ही ध्यान, संकल्प और शांति पाठ भी कराए गए।

आईसेक्ट विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव डॉ मुनीष गोविंद ने कहा कि योग हमें अपने दैनिक जीवन का हिस्सा बना लेना चाहिए क्योंकि निरोग रहने का उत्तम साधन योग है। उन्होंने कहा कि योग स्वस्थ जीवन के साथ साथ स्वस्थ समाज निर्माण के लिए भी आवश्यक है। साथ ही कहा कि योग मन, शरीर और आत्मा को नियंत्रित करने में मददगार है। उन्होंने कहा कि योग द्वारा ही शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहा जा सकता है।

वहीं कुलपति डॉ पीके ने कहा कि हर उम्र के लोगों के लिए योग जरूरी है। योग अपनाने से कई बीमारियों से छुटकारा तो मिलता ही है साथ ही एकाग्रता, स्मरण शक्ति बढ़ाने, कार्य क्षमता बढ़ाने और तनाव दूर करने का भी बेहतर जरिया योग है। बताते चलें कि अरेबिक व जुम्बा के प्रशिक्षक दीपक कुमार ने म्यूजिक के जरिए योगाभ्यास कराया, जिसे मौजूद लोगों ने आनंद पूर्वक किया। वहीं योग में पीजी कर रहे विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों ने कई कठिन योग भी किये और उसके लाभ से भी अवगत कराया।
