गुमला में विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस का आयोजन

मुख्यातिथि ने किया उद्घाटन

गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित डुमरी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस मनाया गया। मुख्यातिथि प्रमुख जीवंती एक्का और चिकित्सा प्रभारी अलबेल केरकेट्टा ने दीप जलाकर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया।

जनसंख्या नियंत्रण का महत्व

मुख्यातिथि प्रमुख जीवंती एक्का ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि इस जनसंख्या दिवस का मुख्य नारा है “हम दो, हमारे दो”। उन्होंने बताया कि छोटे परिवारों में सभी के लिए बेहतर खानपान, कपड़े और शिक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सकती है। छोटे परिवारों में सहयोग भी अधिक मिलता है। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य सहियाओं के माध्यम से जनसंख्या वृद्धि दर को रोकने का आग्रह किया और जनप्रतिनिधियों से इस अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए सहयोग की अपील की।

चिकित्सा प्रभारी का संदेश

चिकित्सा प्रभारी अलबेल केरकेट्टा ने बताया कि देश के कई राज्यों में यह कार्यक्रम चल रहा है। जनसंख्या वृद्धि दर को रोकने के लिए महिला और पुरुषों के लिए कई स्थाई और अस्थाई व्यवस्थाएं हैं। इन व्यवस्थाओं को अपनाकर हम जनसंख्या नियंत्रण के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। परिवार नियोजन अपनाकर सुखी जीवन जीया जा सकता है।

बीपीएम का विस्तृत जानकारी

कार्यक्रम में बीपीएम राजेश केरकेट्टा ने जनसंख्या दिवस के उद्देश्य, कार्यों और इसे सफल बनाने के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि सही उपाय अपनाकर जनसंख्या वृद्धि दर को नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।

उपस्थित गणमान्य

इस अवसर पर डॉ. रोशनी तिग्गा, सुषमा मरियम सहित एएनएम, स्वास्थ्य सहिया और अन्य स्वास्थ्य कर्मी उपस्थित थे। उन्होंने भी कार्यक्रम के उद्देश्यों पर विचार व्यक्त किए।
