गुमला में अंधविश्वास का खौफ: सर्पदंश से पीड़ित का मामला

गुमला – जिले में अंधविश्वास के कारण हर महीने कुछ लोग अपनी जान गंवा देते हैं। जिला प्रशासन के उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी और पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह अंधविश्वास के खिलाफ जागरूकता फैलाने के प्रयास कर रहे हैं। हालांकि, ग्रामीणों में अंधविश्वास की गहरी जड़ें बनी हुई हैं।

सर्पदंश का मामला

घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र के विमरला पंचायत के घोड़ा पत्थर गांव में शनिचर उरांव को सर्पदंश हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि रात को सोते समय उनके दाएं हाथ में सांप ने काट लिया। परिजनों ने झाड़-फूंक और देशी जड़ी-बूटी का सहारा लिया, लेकिन कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ। बाद में, वह गुमला सदर अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए पहुंचे।

अंधविश्वास का प्रकोप

गांवों में झाड़-फूंक और गंडा ताबीज पर ग्रामीणों का अधिक विश्वास है। जिला प्रशासन और पुलिस द्वारा जागरूकता अभियान चलाने के बावजूद, ग्रामीणों का अंधविश्वास बना हुआ है। इसके कारण हर महीने कई लोग अपनी जान गंवा देते हैं।

प्रशासन की अपील

प्रशासन ने ग्रामीणों से अपील की है कि वे झाड़-फूंक और जड़ी-बूटी के बजाय आधुनिक चिकित्सा पर विश्वास करें। अंधविश्वास के चक्कर में पड़कर जान गंवाने वालों की संख्या कम करने के लिए जागरूकता आवश्यक है।

नतीजा

गुमला सदर अस्पताल में शनिचर उरांव का इलाज जारी है। प्रशासन का कहना है कि अंधविश्वास के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा। ग्रामीणों को अपनी सोच बदलनी होगी ताकि अनावश्यक जानें न जाएं।
