अपहरण करता 10 लख रुपए की फिरौती की मांग कर रहा था और फिरौती नहीं देने पर , उक्त मासूम बच्चे को जान मारने की धमकी भी दे रहा था।
उक्त सफलता के लिए जनप्रतिनिधियों और आम ग्रामीणों द्वारा संबंधित समस्त पुलिसकर्मियों को शाबाशी दी जा रही है।
गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित दानपुर गांव से जरडा डांडटोल निवासी एक मात्र 6 वर्षीय मासूम अल्फोस तिर्की ( पिता शैलेंद्र तिर्की ) जो अपनी नानी , मेरी सुषमा केरकेट्टा के घर चैनपुर थाना स्थित रामपुर हॉस्पिटल के पास रहकर संत अन्ना मध्य विद्यालय चैनपुर स्कूल के वर्ग प्रथम ( पहला ) का छात्र है। वह शनिवार को स्कूल छुट्टी के बाद 12:30 बजे घर आ रहा था। इसी क्रम में रामपुर महुआ टोली निवासी आलोक कुमार नाग ने मासूम बच्चे का अपहरण कर उसकी नानी मेरी सुषमा केरकेट्टा से फिरौती के नाम पर दस लाख की की मांग करने लगा। फिरौती नहीं देने पर मासूम बच्चे की हत्या करने की धमकी दे रहा था। तब उसके पिता शैलेंद्र तिर्की एवं परिजनों द्वारा घटना की सूचना चैनपुर थाना पुलिस को दी गई। सूचना मिलते ही चैनपुर थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुये, गहराई से पूछताछ और छानबीन शुरू कर दी। मात्र 5 घंटे के अंदर चैनपुर पुलिस ने अपहरण-करता आलोक कुमार नाग को चैनपुर थाना स्थित पारिस टोंगरी के समक्ष धरदबोचा और अल्फोस तिर्की को सकुशल बरामद कर लिया। अपहरण-करता आलोक कुमार नाग को विधिवत गिरफ्तारी करते हुए उसे न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया है।
