राज्य सरकार के स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग के तत्वाधान में आयोजित राज्यस्तरीय जवाहरलाल नेहरू कप 2024-25 का आज उद्घाटन हुआ। उद्घाटन समारोह में माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशक श्री उत्कर्ष गुप्ता और खेलकूद एवं युवा कार्य निदेशक श्री संदीप कुमार मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित हुए। समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशक श्री उत्कर्ष गुप्ता ने कहा कि राज्य के विद्यालयों में खेल प्रतिभाओ की कोई कमी नहीं है, हमारे छात्र लगातार राष्ट्रीय और अंतराष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगीयताओ में अपना लोहा मनवा रहे है।

राज्य सरकार इन प्रतिभाओ को मंच देने और इन्हे प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज छात्र खेल को भी एक करियर विकल्प के रूप में देख रहे है और इस दिशा में लगातार आगे बढ़ रहे है। यह सराहनीय है। समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए खेल कूद एवं युवा कार्य निदेशक श्री संदीप कुमार ने कहा कि राज्य के विद्यार्थियों में खेल के प्रति आकर्षण बढ़ा है, और खेलकूद विभाग शिक्षा विभाग के साथ समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए इन प्रतिभाओ को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए लगातार कार्य कर रहा है। भविष्य में भी भव्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तर के खेल आयोजनों की मेजबानी का अवसर राज्य को मिला है, विभाग की ओर से खिलाड़ियों को हर संभव सहायता दी जाएगी।

उद्घाटन समारोह में विशिष्ट अतिथियों के अलावा राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी श्री धीरसेन सोरेंग, पूर्व हॉकी ओलिंपियन सह सांझा के हॉकी प्रशिक्षक श्री मनोहर टोपनो, मेजर ध्यानचंद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित पूर्व अंतराष्ट्रीय खिलाडी सह हॉकी प्रशिक्षिका सुश्री सुमराई टेटे, पूर्व अंतराष्ट्रीय हॉकी खिलाड़ी सह कोच श्री बीरेंद्र लकड़ा, हॉकी झारखण्ड के महासचिव श्री विजय कुमार सिंह, झारखण्ड ओलिंपिक संघ के कोषाध्यक्ष श्री शिवेंदु दुबे, हॉकी झारखण्ड के सीईओ श्री रजनीश कुमार उपस्थित थे।

➡लोहरदगा बनाम हज़ारीबाग़ के बीच हुए मुक़ाबले में हज़ारीबाग़ की बालिका टीम ने लोहरदगा को 9-0 से दी शिकस्त
➡गिरिडीह बनाम सरायकेला के बीच हुए मुक़ाबले में गिरिडीह की बालिका टीम ने एक गोल कर जीत दर्ज की
➡पश्चिमी सिंघभूम बनाम बोकारो के बीच हुए मुक़ाबले में बोकारो की बालिका टीम ने एक गोल कर जीत दर्ज की
➡गुमला बनाम रामगढ़ के बीच हुए मुक़ाबले में आज गुमला की बालिका टीम ने 13-0 के बड़े अंतर से जीत दर्ज की
