पुलिस नागरिक सुरक्षा समिति और सुगंधा आजीविका महिला समिति की विशेष बैठक संपन्न

गुमला – गुमला जिला पुलिस कप्तान शंभू कुमार सिंह के दिशा-निर्देश पर जिले में पुलिस और नागरिकों के बीच संवाद बढ़ाने तथा सौहार्दपूर्ण संबंध स्थापित करने की दिशा में एक नई पहल की गई है। इसी उद्देश्य से जिले के विभिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों में पुलिस नागरिक सुरक्षा समिति और सुगंधा आजीविका महिला समितियों का गठन किया गया है। इन समितियों के गठन का उद्देश्य न केवल पुलिस और आम नागरिकों के बीच की दूरी को कम करना है, बल्कि जिले में शांति और सद्भाव बनाए रखने में भी योगदान देना है।

इसी क्रम में, अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव की अध्यक्षता में टोटो बिट के शास्त्री नगर क्षेत्र में एक विशेष बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। इस बैठक में दोनों समितियों के सदस्यों के साथ-साथ स्थानीय नागरिकों की भी भागीदारी रही। बैठक में नशापान, हड़िया दारू, अंधविश्वास, डायन-प्रथा, ओझा-झाड़ फूंक जैसी सामाजिक कुरीतियों पर गहन चर्चा की गई और इनके उन्मूलन के लिए जागरूकता अभियान चलाने की योजना बनाई गई।

इसके साथ ही, प्रमुख प्रतिष्ठानों में सीसीटीवी कैमरों की अनिवार्यता, संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों की पहचान और वहां गश्ती बढ़ाने, किराएदारों की सत्यापन प्रक्रिया, और पर्व-त्योहारों के दौरान घर बंद कर जाने से पहले पुलिस को सूचित करने जैसे महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर भी चर्चा की गई। इस बैठक का मुख्य उद्देश्य समाज में सुरक्षा की भावना को बढ़ावा देना और आपराधिक गतिविधियों पर लगाम लगाना था।

यह पहल गुमला जिले में शांति और सुरक्षा को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम है, जहां पुलिस और नागरिकों के बीच की खाई को पाटते हुए समन्वय और सहयोग का नया अध्याय शुरू हुआ है।
