आयुर्वेदिक दवा से बैध सहित दो की मौत, स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने की जांच, अंधविश्वास से जुड़ा मामला

गुमला – गुमला जिले के चैनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के मरईकोना गांव में 20 सितंबर को आयुर्वेदिक जड़ी-बूटियों से बनी दवा के सेवन से बैध सुधीर तिर्की और बसंत तिर्की की मौत हो गई, जबकि बसंत तिर्की की पत्नी सुषमा तिर्की और बादल टोप्पो की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है। घटना के बाद स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने त्वरित जांच शुरू की। सिविल सर्जन डॉ. नवल कुमार ने अपनी टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंचकर घंटों छानबीन की और पाया कि यह मामला विभागीय लापरवाही से नहीं, बल्कि अंधविश्वास और शराब के नशे में जड़ी-बूटी के गलत सेवन से जुड़ा है।

डॉ. नवल कुमार ने बताया कि जड़ी-बूटियों और अन्य सामग्री से बनी इस दवा को मृतक के परिवार ने घर में मिक्सी में पीसकर तैयार किया था, जिसे सेवन करने के लगभग एक घंटे बाद लोगों की तबीयत बिगड़ने लगी। पेट में दर्द, उल्टी और चक्कर जैसी समस्याएं उत्पन्न हुईं। पीड़ितों को तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाने के बजाय घरेलू उपचार किया गया, जिससे स्थिति और गंभीर हो गई। घटना के कई घंटे बाद स्वास्थ्य विभाग को सूचना मिली, जिसके कारण बचाव कार्य में देरी हुई।

सिविल सर्जन ने बताया कि मृतक बसंत तिर्की कभी टीवी (ट्यूबरकुलोसिस) का मरीज नहीं था और न ही उसने कभी इस बीमारी की दवा ली थी। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि बसंत तिर्की पहले से ही लिवर और अन्य बीमारियों से जूझ रहा था और गुमला के एक निजी क्लिनिक से उसका इलाज चल रहा था।

जांच के दौरान सिविल सर्जन के साथ जिला परिषद सदस्य मेरी लकड़ा, पंचायत मुखिया शोभा देवी, वार्ड सदस्य रश्मि भारती टोप्पो, समाजसेवी मयंक मौली शर्मा और स्थानीय पत्रकार भी मौजूद थे।

डॉ. नवल कुमार ने नागरिकों से अपील की कि वे अंधविश्वास और ओझा-गुनी के चक्कर में न पड़ें। किसी भी स्वास्थ्य समस्या के लिए तुरंत सरकारी स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का लाभ उठाएं। स्वास्थ्य विभाग जनता की सेवा के लिए सदैव तत्पर है, और किसी भी प्रकार की समस्या के लिए नागरिक सीधे उनसे संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
