उपायुक्त की अध्यक्षता में सड़क सुरक्षा पर विशेष समीक्षात्मक बैठक आयोजित

गुमला जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की बढ़ती घटनाओं को नियंत्रित करने और सुरक्षा उपायों को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में एक विशेष समीक्षात्मक बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक में जनवरी 2024 से अक्टूबर 2024 तक हुई सड़क दुर्घटनाओं का विस्तृत विश्लेषण किया गया और भविष्य में इनकी रोकथाम के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने पर बल दिया गया।

दुर्घटनाओं के आंकड़े और प्रमुख कारण

बैठक में प्रस्तुत रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, इस अवधि में कुल 184 सड़क दुर्घटनाएं हुईं, जिनमें से 176 घटनाएं घातक रहीं। इसके अलावा, 45 प्रमुख और 2 मामूली चोट के मामले भी दर्ज किए गए।

दुर्घटनाओं के प्रमुख कारण:

1. ओवरलोडिंग और ओवरस्पीडिंग: वाहन क्षमता से अधिक भार और तेज गति से चलने के कारण कई दुर्घटनाएं हुईं।
2. रैश ड्राइविंग और नशे में वाहन चलाना: गैर-जिम्मेदाराना ड्राइविंग और शराब के सेवन के मामलों ने भी दुर्घटनाओं की संख्या बढ़ाई।
3. यातायात नियमों की अनदेखी: नाबालिग चालकों और हेलमेट न पहनने जैसी लापरवाही दुर्घटनाओं का मुख्य कारण रही।
4. टू-व्हीलर हादसे: कुल 119 मामले टू-व्हीलर चालकों से जुड़े पाए गए, जिनमें मुख्य वजह तेज गति और यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन रही।

पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में इस वर्ष दुर्घटनाओं में 14.29% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई।

परिवहन विभाग द्वारा की गई कार्रवाई

परिवहन विभाग ने सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए हैं।

• ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस निलंबन: जनवरी से अक्टूबर के बीच 459 ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस निलंबित किए गए।

  • 404 मामले बिना हेलमेट वाहन चलाने के
• सड़क सुरक्षा काउंसलिंग: नए ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस धारकों को सड़क सुरक्षा पर प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए 3012 लोगों को काउंसलिंग दी गई।

उपायुक्त द्वारा निर्देशित महत्वपूर्ण कदम

बैठक के दौरान उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम और सड़क सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश दिए:

1. ब्लाइंड स्पॉट्स की पहचान और सुधार

सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के हॉटस्पॉट्स (ब्लाइंड स्पॉट्स) की पहचान कर उन्हें सुधारने के लिए तुरंत कार्रवाई की जाए।

2. हेलमेट जांच अभियान

हेलमेट उपयोग को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कठोर जांच अभियान चलाने के निर्देश दिए गए।

3. मुआवजा प्रक्रिया में तेजी

दुर्घटनाओं में मृतकों के परिजनों को मुआवजा राशि शीघ्र प्रदान करने का आदेश दिया गया।

4. जागरूकता कार्यक्रम

यातायात नियमों का पालन बढ़ाने और सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति लोगों को शिक्षित करने के लिए व्यापक जागरूकता अभियान चलाने पर बल दिया गया।

बैठक में सहभागिता

बैठक में जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी सहित परिवहन विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे। उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि वे सड़क सुरक्षा के मानकों का सख्ती से पालन कराएं और दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए हर संभव कदम उठाएं।

सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर भविष्य की रणनीति

1. समुदाय को शामिल करना: ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों की जानकारी फैलाने के लिए स्थानीय समुदायों को शामिल किया जाएगा।
2. इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर सुधार: खराब सड़कों की मरम्मत और संकेतक लगाने के लिए योजनाएं बनाई जा रही हैं।
3. तकनीकी समाधान: ट्रैफिक नियमों के अनुपालन के लिए CCTV और स्पीड मॉनिटरिंग सिस्टम का उपयोग किया जाएगा।

सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सभी संबंधित विभागों के बीच तालमेल और सख्त नियमों का पालन आवश्यक है। उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में हुई यह बैठक गुमला जिले को सुरक्षित और संरक्षित बनाने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम है।
