गुमला – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित चैनपुर प्रखंड मुख्यालय में क्रिसमस के अवसर पर एक भव्य कार्निवाल सह शोभा यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें स्थानीय लोगों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और एक शोभा यात्रा जुलूस निकाला गया जो बस स्टैंड से शुरू होकर मेन रोड, कुरूमगड़ मोड़ होते हुए लूथरन मैदान तक पहुंचा , इस शोभायात्रा में युवाओं ने भक्ति गीत गाए और नागपुरी गीत बजाकर माहौल को और भी भव्य और आकर्षक बना दिया , उक्त कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियाँ शामिल की गई थीं , लूथरन मैदान में क्रिसमस मिलन समारोह, गैदरिंग और आर्केस्ट्रा का आयोजन किया गया। इस समारोह का उद्घाटन चैनपुर पली पुरोहित फॉ जेफ्रियनिश किंडो और जीए के पादरी नवीन बेक ने आशीर्वाद देकर किया। पायल ग्रुप रांची के कलाकारों ने क्रिसमस भजन प्रस्तुत किया ।
