विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय ने नेशनल एकेडमिक डिपॉजिटरी (National Academic Depository) के तहत विद्यार्थियों के डेटा अपलोड करने में झारखंड के सभी विश्वविद्यालय में प्रथम स्थान पर अपने को स्थापित किया है। डिजिटल दुनिया में यह कीर्तिमान विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर पवन कुमार पोद्दार तथा डिजिटल कोषांग के निदेशक डॉ इंद्रजीत कुमार के प्रयासों से संभव हुआ है।
साथ ही विभावि झारखंड का एकमात्र विश्वविद्यालय है जिन्होंने 119685 विद्यार्थियों के डेटा को अपलोड कर एक लाख से ऊपर के अंकपत्र और डिग्री नेशनल अकैडमी डिपॉजिटरी में सही-सही अपलोड कर दिया है। दूसरे स्थान पर विनोद बिहारी महतो कोयलांचल विश्वविद्यालय, धनबाद है जिसने 81158 विद्यार्थियों के डेटा को सही-सही अपलोड किया है।
इस संबंध में विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति ने बताया कि विद्यार्थियों की हो रही असुविधा को देखते हुए विश्वविद्यालय ने इस दिशा में ठोस पहल किया। प्रथम चरण में वर्ष 2019 और उसके बाद के वर्षों में नामांकन लेने वाले स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर के विद्यार्थियों के डेटा को अपलोड किया जा रहा है। इसमें मुख्य रूप से विद्यार्थियों के अंकपत्र तथा उपाधि को शामिल किया गया है। यह विद्यार्थियों के आधार से लिंक किया गया है। अब विद्यार्थी डिजिलॉकर में जाकर भी अपने अंक पत्र और उपाधि डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। कुलपति ने बताया कि भारत सरकार के डिजिटल अधिनियम के तहत अब ऐसे डाउनलोड किए हुए अंकपत्र और उपाधि को भी वैध माना जाना है।
यह कार्य नई शिक्षा नीति (NEP) 2020 को धरातल पर लाने के उद्देश्य से किया गया है। इसके तहत प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी का एकेडमिक बैंक क्रेडिट (ABC) का एक डिजिटल आईडी बनाया गया है। विद्यार्थी अगर किसी अन्य विश्वविद्यालय मे नामांकन लेते हैं तो उनसे संबंधित सारी जानकारी स्वतः उस विश्वविद्यालय के पास उपलब्ध हो जाएंगे। नौकरी लग जाने पर भी विद्यार्थी के अंकपत्र तथा उपाधि की जांच नियोक्ता इकाई डिजिटल पद्धति से कर सकेगा।
विश्वविद्यालय के इस क्वेश्चन से जुड़े जयप्रकाश ने जानकारी दी है कि अभी 45000 विद्यार्थियों के डेटा अपलोड होने के लिए तैयार है। यह अपलोड हो जाने से कुल संख्या में अप्रत्याशित वृद्धि होगी। पूर्व कंप्यूटर कोषांग के निदेशक डॉ अजय शर्मा ने विश्वविद्यालय की इस उपलब्धि पर कुलपति प्रोफेसर पवन कुमार पोद्दार, डॉ इंद्रजीत कुमार और इस कार्य में लगे पुरी टीम को बधाई दी है।
