गुमला: झारखंड के गुमला जिले के गोविंदपुर गांव में मंगलवार की रात दिल दहला देने वाली घटना घटी, जहां नशे में धुत अजीत राम नामक व्यक्ति ने अपनी ही 55 वर्षीय मां को बेरहमी से लाठी-डंडों से पीट-पीटकर मार डाला। वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गया।
घरेलू विवाद बना हत्या का कारण
जानकारी के मुताबिक, विवाहित अजीत राम नशे की हालत में घर पहुंचा और बिना किसी ठोस वजह के परिजनों से विवाद करने लगा। देखते ही देखते विवाद हिंसक हो गया और गुस्से में आकर अजीत ने घर में रखी लाठी उठाकर अपनी मां पर हमला कर दिया। लगातार कई वार करने के बाद उसकी मां की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
गांववालों ने दी पुलिस को सूचना
बुधवार सुबह घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने तुरंत स्थानीय पुलिस को सूचना दी। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर घटनास्थल की जांच की और मृतका के शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
फरार आरोपी की तलाश में जुटी पुलिस
हत्या के बाद से ही अजीत राम फरार है, जिसकी तलाश में पुलिस लगातार संभावित ठिकानों पर छापेमारी कर रही है। पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि आरोपी को जल्द ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा। वहीं, गांव में इस जघन्य कृत्य के बाद मातम पसरा हुआ है और ग्रामीण आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी की मांग कर रहे हैं।
