गुमला में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर एसपी, डीडीसी समेत अधिकारियों ने लगाई दौड़

गुमला: सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाने और यातायात नियमों के पालन को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा माह के तहत गुमला जिले में मैराथन दौड़ का आयोजन किया गया। यह अभियान 1 जनवरी से शुरू होकर 31 जनवरी तक चलेगा, जिसमें विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से लोगों को सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाया जाएगा। इस दौड़ में गुमला एसपी शंभू कुमार सिंह, डीडीसी दिलेश्वर महतो, डीटीओ, एसडीपीओ, डीएलएसए सचिव, डीएसई और सार्जेंट मेजर सहित कई अन्य अधिकारी शामिल हुए।

सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने पर जोर

सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभास ने बताया कि वाहन चालकों को अपनी और दूसरों की सुरक्षा के प्रति जिम्मेदार बनना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट का नियमित उपयोग सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में कमी ला सकता है और जीवन की रक्षा कर सकता है। साथ ही, उन्होंने मोबाइल फोन के इस्तेमाल से बचने और यातायात नियमों का कड़ाई से पालन करने की अपील की।

मैराथन दौड़ का आयोजन और पुरस्कार वितरण

इस दौरान जिला मुख्यालय स्थित परमवीर अल्बर्ट एक्का स्टेडियम से लोहरदगा रोड स्थित सोसो मोड़ तक मैराथन दौड़ आयोजित की गई, जिसमें सैकड़ों प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया। दौड़ पूरी होने के बाद पहले पांच स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को हेलमेट और ट्रैकसूट देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा, बाद में उन्हें जूते भी प्रदान किए जाएंगे।

स्वास्थ्य शिविर और रक्तदान अभियान

सड़क सुरक्षा माह के तहत आज जिला सदर अस्पताल में निःशुल्क नेत्र जांच और रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इच्छुक लोग यहां पहुंचकर अपनी आंखों की जांच करा सकते हैं और रक्तदान कर जरूरतमंदों की सहायता कर सकते हैं।

सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के पालन पर विशेष जोर

गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभु कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि इस अभियान के तहत लोगों को सड़क दुर्घटनाओं से बचाव के उपायों के बारे में जागरूक किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति किसी सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल व्यक्ति को अस्पताल पहुंचाता है, तो सरकार की ओर से उसे ₹2000 की प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाती है।

एसपी ने लोगों से हमेशा हेलमेट पहनने, यातायात नियमों का पालन करने और 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों को वाहन न देने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह अभियान लोगों को सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति अधिक संवेदनशील बनाने और अनावश्यक दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

जिला प्रशासन ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि यातायात नियमों का पालन करें, सुरक्षित तरीके से वाहन चलाएं और अपने परिवार तथा समाज की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करें।
