गुमला: स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के वीर शहीदों को नमन करते हुए गुरुवार को जिले के सभी शासकीय कार्यालयों में दो मिनट का मौन रखा गया। इस दौरान अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने कार्यस्थल पर मौन धारण कर अमर शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
जिला मुख्यालय स्थित समाहरणालय सहित विभिन्न सरकारी कार्यालयों में इस अवसर पर विशेष आयोजन किए गए। समाहरणालय परिसर, गुमला चंदाली में उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी की अध्यक्षता में श्रद्धांजलि सभा का आयोजन हुआ, जहां महात्मा गांधी की आदमकद प्रतिमा के समक्ष उपस्थित अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने श्रद्धा-सुमन अर्पित किए। सभी ने दो मिनट का मौन रखकर शहीदों को याद किया और उनके बलिदान को नमन किया।
इस अवसर पर पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह, उप विकास आयुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो, एसडीओ सदर राजीव नीरज, जिला नजारत उप समाहर्ता ललन कुमार रजक, जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी, समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, आपूर्ति पदाधिकारी समेत कई अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
श्रद्धांजलि सभा में वक्ताओं ने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के अमर वीरों के योगदान को याद करते हुए उनके आदर्शों पर चलने का संकल्प लिया। सभी ने राष्ट्रहित में उनके बलिदान से प्रेरणा लेने और देशसेवा को सर्वोपरि रखने की प्रतिबद्धता जताई।
