गुमला : – गुमला परिवहन विभाग द्वारा जनवरी माह में संचालित सड़क सुरक्षा कार्यक्रम में उत्कृष्ट कार्य हेतु गुमला जिले को राज्य स्तर पर तीन श्रेणियों में सम्मानित किया गया है। यह सम्मान राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा सेमिनार 2025 में रांची में प्रदान किया गया, जिसमें जिले ने विभिन्न श्रेणियों में अपनी उत्कृष्टता साबित की।
गुमला जिले को “रोड सेफ्टी अवेयरनेस प्रोग्राम” श्रेणी में प्रथम स्थान, “अवॉर्डिंग मोर नंबर ऑफ गुड समरिटान अंडर स्टेट स्कीम” में प्रथम स्थान, और “हेल्पिंग विक्टिम ऑफ हिट एंड रन कंपनसेशन स्कीम” के अंतर्गत तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। यह उपलब्धि जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर किए गए व्यापक प्रयासों के लिए प्राप्त हुआ।
इस सम्मान समारोह में गुमला जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी, डीएसपी गुमला एवं रोड सेफ्टी विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी राकेश कुमार गोप ने कहा कि उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी के निरंतर मार्गदर्शन और जिले के नागरिकों के सहयोग से गुमला को यह प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान प्राप्त हुआ है।
गुमला जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा माह के अंतर्गत नागरिकों को सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया था, जिनमें सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान, सेमिनार, कार्यशालाएं, नुक्कड़ नाटक, स्कूल और कॉलेजों में विशेष जागरूकता कार्यक्रम शामिल थे। इन प्रयासों से सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम और नागरिकों को ट्रैफिक नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने में महत्वपूर्ण सफलता मिली।
आगे भी परिवहन विभाग का सड़क सुरक्षा कोषांग लगातार जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर व्यापक अभियान चलाएगा, ताकि गुमला सड़क सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक आदर्श जिला बन सके।
