जंगल में युवक ने की आत्महत्या, पुलिस जांच में जुटी

गुमला: गुमला जिला अंतर्गत घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र के मनातू गांव के तुरी कूचा जंगल में 24 वर्षीय मनोहर उरांव ने फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। रविवार को कुछ ग्रामीणों ने जंगल की ओर जाते समय एक पेड़ पर युवक को फांसी के फंदे से लटकते देखा। नजदीक जाकर देखने पर उसकी पहचान मनोहर उरांव के रूप में हुई। घटना की सूचना तुरंत गांववालों ने परिजनों और घाघरा थाना पुलिस को दी।

पुलिस जांच में जुटी

सूचना मिलते ही घाघरा थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और प्रारंभिक जांच शुरू की। शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा गया। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

परिजनों ने मानसिक अस्वस्थता का किया जिक्र

परिजनों ने बताया कि मनोहर उरांव पिछले कुछ दिनों से मानसिक रूप से अस्वस्थ था। वह शनिवार सुबह 9 बजे घर से बिना बताए निकला था और फिर वापस नहीं लौटा। परिजनों ने उसकी काफी तलाश की, लेकिन उसका कोई सुराग नहीं मिला। बाद में ग्रामीणों ने जंगल में उसका शव फांसी से लटकता पाया और पुलिस को सूचना दी।

आत्महत्या के कारणों का नहीं हुआ खुलासा

फिलहाल, आत्महत्या के पीछे के कारणों का स्पष्ट खुलासा नहीं हो सका है। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और परिजनों तथा स्थानीय लोगों से पूछताछ कर रही है।
