हजारीबाग के ऐतिहासिक चर्च विवाद पर बढ़ा आक्रोश, पूर्व मंत्री बंधु तिर्की और पूर्व विधायक सौरव नारायण सिंह ने दिलाया न्याय का आश्वासन

हजारीबाग: शहर के सबसे पुराने और ऐतिहासिक संत स्टीफन चर्च के प्रार्थना स्थल को लेकर जिला प्रशासन द्वारा अतिक्रमण हटाने और वहां पुलिस थाना बनाने के निर्णय से आदिवासी समुदाय में भारी आक्रोश फैल गया है। इस विवाद को शांत करने के लिए झारखंड सरकार के पूर्व मंत्री और कांग्रेस नेता बंधु तिर्की तथा पूर्व विधायक सौरव नारायण सिंह चर्च पहुंचे और वहां स्थानीय समुदाय के साथ बैठक की।

क्या है मामला?

हजारीबाग के नए बस स्टैंड स्थित संत स्टीफन चर्च का प्रार्थना स्थल करीब 150 वर्षों से अधिक पुराना है। प्रशासन द्वारा इस स्थल पर पुलिस थाना बनाने के लिए अतिक्रमण हटाने का प्रयास किया गया, जिससे आदिवासी समुदाय में रोष उत्पन्न हो गया। इस मुद्दे को लेकर पूर्व मंत्री बंधु तिर्की और पूर्व विधायक सौरव नारायण सिंह चर्च परिसर पहुंचे और स्थानीय लोगों के साथ चर्चा की।

बैठक में शामिल नेता और आश्वासन

इस बैठक में कांग्रेस के जिला अध्यक्ष शैलेन्द्र कुमार यादव, महानगर अध्यक्ष मनोज नारायण भगत, जिला उपाध्यक्ष सह प्रवक्ता निसार खान, सहकारिता विभाग के अध्यक्ष कृष्णा किशोर प्रसाद, महिला नेत्री कोमल कुमारी, पूनम यादव, युवा जिला अध्यक्ष प्रकाश कुमार यादव, परवेज अहमद, मो. ग़ालिब, राम कुमार पटेल, बबलू सिंह सहित कई कांग्रेस नेता और स्थानीय लोग मौजूद रहे।

बैठक में बंधु तिर्की और सौरव नारायण सिंह ने जिला प्रशासन के साथ वार्ता कर आदिवासी समुदाय की मांगों पर शीघ्र संज्ञान लेने का भरोसा दिया। उन्होंने चर्च के प्रार्थना स्थल की सुरक्षा और पुनर्निर्माण के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास करने का आश्वासन भी दिया।

आगे की रणनीति

स्थानीय नेताओं ने प्रशासन से चर्च परिसर में किसी भी प्रकार के निर्माण कार्य को रोकने और प्रार्थना स्थल को संरक्षित करने की मांग की है। इस मुद्दे पर जिला प्रशासन की अगली कार्रवाई पर सभी की नजरें टिकी हुई हैं।
