गुमला में ऑटो चालकों का रोड टैक्स वृद्धि के खिलाफ विरोध, चक्का जाम से यात्रियों को परेशानी

गुमला: नगर परिषद द्वारा रोड टैक्स बढ़ाए जाने के खिलाफ गुमला के ऑटो चालकों ने हड़ताल शुरू कर दी है। बुधवार को सिसई रोड ऑटो यूनियन संघ के बैनर तले करौंदी ग्राम स्थित रथ बगीचा स्थल पर ऑटो चालक एकत्र हुए और टैक्स वृद्धि के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। गुरुवार सुबह से जारी इस हड़ताल के कारण सिसई रोड, जशपुर रोड और लोहरदगा रोड पर ऑटो सेवाएं पूरी तरह से ठप रहीं, जिससे यात्रियों को भारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा।

क्या है ऑटो चालकों की मांग?

ऑटो चालकों का कहना है कि पहले नगर परिषद द्वारा प्रति दिन 20 रुपये रोड टैक्स लिया जाता था, जिसे अब बढ़ाकर 40 रुपये कर दिया गया है। चालकों ने इस वृद्धि को अन्यायपूर्ण बताते हुए इसे तत्काल वापस लेने की मांग की है। विरोध कर रहे चालकों ने आरोप लगाया कि टैक्स बढ़ाने के अलावा नगर परिषद के कर्मचारी उनके साथ अभद्र भाषा का प्रयोग भी कर रहे हैं, जो अस्वीकार्य है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि टैक्स को पूर्ववत 20 रुपये नहीं किया गया, तो वे अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल पर चले जाएंगे।

आम जनता और विद्यार्थियों को हो रही दिक्कतें

ऑटो चालकों की इस हड़ताल का असर पूरे गुमला शहर पर पड़ा। खासकर, स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं और ऑफिस जाने वाले लोगों को यात्रा के दौरान काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा। सार्वजनिक परिवहन की कमी के कारण यात्रियों को अन्य साधनों का सहारा लेना पड़ा, जिससे अतिरिक्त आर्थिक बोझ भी बढ़ा।

प्रदर्शन में शामिल प्रमुख लोग

इस प्रदर्शन में प्रकाश खाखा, राकेश तिकी, शहनवाज खान, अनिल साहू, मुन्ना साहू, महावीर उरांव, भीम साहू, सरोज साहू, संदीप बड़ा, रामविलास साहू, सिबलालुम किद्रो और रंजीत कुजूर सहित कई ऑटो चालक शामिल रहे।

ऑटो यूनियन ने साफ कर दिया है कि जब तक उनकी मांगें पूरी नहीं होतीं, वे सड़क पर उतरकर आंदोलन जारी रखेंगे। अब देखना होगा कि प्रशासन इस मुद्दे का समाधान निकालने के लिए क्या कदम उठाता है।
